Does it make me an "elitist" if say I too think this is a bad idea. I'm not against Minecraft on the Xbox. I'm just against Mojang undertaking this unquestionably huge project NOW and snuffing out ALL hopes of Minecraft ever being properly "released". I don't know if that matters to people, but it peeves me. Minecraft (for the PC) DESERVES to be launched. It shouldn't be a buggy Beta for it's entire lifetime. It DESERVES better.

That's true but he did say a separate team is working on the 360 version if I remember correctly.

It's not elitism, they're just fanboys. Back when Final Fantasy XIII was announced for Xbox 360 of Mass Effect 2 for PS3, console fans were furious, started calling people names and simply did not think fans of another console deserved the same enjoyment. It's pathetic but it's not exclusive to PC gamers.

So Mojang has more than, like, FOUR people working for it now? Cause otherwise, is "the ONE new guy who has experience developing for XBL" really a team?

Maybe it's going to be an internal thing? Maybe MS has a team of 506 people working on it, and they (ingeniously, may I add) plan to keep that under wraps because they know it will lost them every single PC player's "double" sale?

Im not one of those guys. I dont think Xbox users will ruin jack. The reason why im slightly angry is because Console gamers get so many games that we dont... So you can see how i would like that youd give something back.

It is the nature of the systems though, games consoles are exactly that, for games, PC has so many other uses. Its like an Xbox user complaining that they don't have a word processing application. The true winner will soon be the Smart Phone user anyway they already have a lot of the benefits from consoles and PCs.

As a PC gamer I'm glad 360 is getting minecraft, it'll mean people stop playing that shitty rip-off fortress craft. As for how bethesda are describing Skyrim saying they're focussing on consoles and "making it accessible" worries me as that in general means dumbed down for the lowest common denominator and isolating a dedicated audience who want the series to evolve, not step back.

I still play my consoles time to time but I love my PC too much ^_^

I suppose the trade off between console-tards and PC elitists is console-tards are thicker, PC elitists are pretentious wankers.

I don't understand what the problem is, personally. Everyone deserves to play Minecraft and some people seriously have computers which can't play it at a decent framerate. This is the exact reason why fanboys and PC elitists annoy me: "The consoles plebs will ruin it!"

So, for discussion's sake, what's your take on this news? What's your attitude to PC elitists and why do the act that way?

Don't worry about that as much because Sony doesn't exactly have the game on their console so we will end up with both 360 and PC being eletist for having the game.

Honestly I love my PC and I love my Xbox and PS3. I admit that I like my PC more then both of them but I'm by no means exclusively PC. I'm not going to get it because 1 I already own it and 2 My hand would get tired from punching the air. People want it for 360 kinnect let them it doesn't impact you I don't get why those fan-boys are whining about it.

Majority of my time is spent on my PC gaming. And I have to say, the hardware is way better. And that's about all. 90% of games are available on multiple platforms. "Crysis" is an exception. Not the rule.
