Big things? Tower Defense is something that originated from custom Warcraft 3 maps.

WC3 also has plenty of lesser known mods like Aerie of Ruin, Project Revolution and Modern Warfare, not to mention a bunch of conversions of other games (like FF7 for instance).

That was actually a serious question - the only game I knew of that was a fan adaptation of Warcraft III was DOTA.

For a start there's pretty much the entire tower defense genre, as well as the various footman frenzy incarnations, loaps, riddle maps, minigame collections, arena maps and others. Most of the WCIII costum content comes from it's incedibly powerful map editor, which alllows it to be moddded into an fps with a primitive physics engine, a turn based chess based game or a racing game.

I've really failed to understand the attraction behind LittleBigPlanet. It's just not there for me, honestly - it looks like a game that thrives upon having no set storyline, and just being adorable and (unfortunately, somewhat repetitive).
