The reason Dark Souls wasnt ported to PC originally was because they admitted they didnt know how to port to PC. And then when they did..we got a fairly buggy port. From Software have only done 1 Wii game, so porting it may be difficult for them and simply not worth their time. With the PC version it was worth their time because its fairly common to have only a PC and no console, meaning you could legitimately not have been able to play the game. Considering the WiiU is a brand new console, the audience size that will ONLY have a WiiU and no PC or console is basically non existent(let alone the fact that you need one of those to play the original Dark Souls).A Smooth Criminal said:The only excuse to NOT have Dark Souls on the Wii U is the same one that was used time and time again to keep it off the PC, and it's "We want something that the other console doesn't have!! HURRDIHURR THIS CONSOLE MUST REMAIN SUPERIOR"
Basically it leaves you with an audience that CAN play it on another platform, but would like to play it on WiiU, which is just want, rather than legitimate lack of being able to play it, so it may not be worth the devs time. Dark Souls PC got 93k signatures, like 30k in the first day. 7k(now) is nothing compared to that.
