Far cry 2 question

right, i recently got a laptop with a radeon HD3200 256mb vidoe card built in.

it can run assasin creed at about 35 FPS


it can runs assasinc reed 2 at about 30 FPS

but can it run farcry 2?


(ass creed 1 runs at meduim lowish at 35,
ass creed 2 runs at 30 FPS medium lowish aswell)

will farcy 2 run at about 30+ FPS at medium/low settings?

Probably, my 6 year old computer (with some upgrades) ran it ok, so yours probably will.

My guess is probably not. Far Cry 2 runs in the Cry Engine which makes it really hard to run. Also 256mb seems kind of low.
Also, in my opinion, you shouldn't get Far Cry 2. It's boring and there's no goal which makes it hard for me to care.

No, not at any decent frame rate, 35 and 30 are incredibly low to begin with, and thast not factoring in Far Crys massive draw distances. I would say dont bother, Far Cry 2 is really not that good.

i own it on my computer in ireland. im on holidays in ukraine. i have a PC here, but the vidoe card got burned out.


also, i found a video on youtube made by someone with a similar rig. it runs fin for him on 40 FPS to 45 FPS

here are his ingame settings:

800x600
no aa no af
All medium
physics high fire low real tree low

well, that work fine for me. theres a wwebsite called will it run or something and i checked and it will run fine.

also, i dont expet shin shiny durr, i expect descent frame rates, or atleast playable

also, i learned if you turn of desktop cpmposition you get a bonus 5-10 FPS it worked for me. now most games on my laptop go 40-45 FPS

jesus raptor christ, i saw some more vids on youtube, and the HD3200 256nb can run a ton of games.

IT EVENS RUNS CRYSIS ON ULTRA LOW
