Ehh, not sure if this is the right place to put this but I don't really care. Okay, so I bought a disk copy of far cry 2 today, I installed it on my PC, and transferred the files to my Laptop that doesn't have a disk drive, but has a nice graphics card. The game ran fine the first time I clicked on the Icon in the Farcry 2 folder, and I played through the tutorial mission, closed the tab, and then messed around in the map editor. (Note, I ran the game on my laptop before this, just to see if the game could work without the disk) Now whenever I click the launch icon from the folder, the screen goes black, then grey, then black again, the mouse icon flashes twice, the screen cuts in half, and then minimises. Whenever I click on the icon from the task bar, the same thing happens. It does this on no matter what opperating system I set it to.
The map editor works fine, but the game keeps doing this.
Any idea why?
