I like that term.

Anyway, very choppy review, unclear points, exceptionally brief, use of words like "lemme", and punctuation was off. The points that you did make, however, were reasonably well made, just very, very brief.

Also, welcome to The Escapist.
Why is it people allways say that right after pointing out a mistake or something else wrong?
I always wonder that too. This thread is the first time I ever extended a welcome to a user's first post (it was his very first post by the way), and I knew as I hit the post button that I would get called out on how trite and unnecessary the whole gesture is.

I suppose there's nothing wrong with a bit of hospitality, even it is completely ingenuous.

Umm, I'm from Japan. Well I was, but then I moved to the US

On the dent topic: Does a dent stand out of a smooth crowd?

Also, I swear I wasn't trying to be him, I haven't watched his videos until now.

I was gonna make a farcry 2 thread titled "Far Cry 2: a bad game never looked so good" when i stumbled on this so thought I might as well use my screenshots to support his points.

Graphics: The typical scene is very pretty. Can't say much more than that. It makes me cry rainbows.

Speaking of crying rainbows, I got a few glitches that made me laugh.

As far as the AI goes, what can be said except that it sucks? I started at the hardest difficulty and incrementally notched it back until i was on normal and didn't notice that big a difference. Case in point, can you spot the enemy that shot at me after I took these screenshots?

I was offering support for ALackOfLife's points on the graphics and the AI with screenshots while adding my own comment about a glitch I came across, which had turned the rocks into rainbow colors.

Well this thread isn't for you and you people should not post comments like this, I still like the game, just because I made points that make it look bad doesn't mean I hate it, please, don't post comments like that.
Ok, these comments were absolutely unnecessary. They're trying to give you constructive criticism (well most of them). If you can't handle that, I suggest you stop writing altogether.

Also your game if it was real, would mostly focus on story if I'm right, I don't give a submarining f*** about, what I care about is game-play, game and play produce fun. If I wanted a story I would read a book, theres only like 5+ million in the world, this is a FPS that focus' on game play, no game play, no game at all.
Maybe you don't care about the story, but that's not the point, your readers will.

On that note, are you seriously implying that story is not important in an FPS? Bioshock's gameplay, for example, while slightly above average, wouldn't have made it the classic that it surely is if it weren't for the fantastic storyline and fiction surrounding the game. The same goes for Half Life, Portal, Call of Duty, Halo and many other classic FPS games.

Support his points, what else did you say you did?

The 2 points I was supporting were 1) graphics are nice but hilarious when glitches happen 2) There's no noticeable difference in AI behavior between the various difficulty settings. How did I not do that?

The first bit of your gameplay section has bits of what might be considered a review in it. Aside from that, it's thoughtless and fraught with errors. Sure, there might not be that much to say, but there certainly must be more than two short paragraphs worth of material to discuss?

Don't just slap a few lines together in the text field, decide to call it a review, and hit post. Open a word document and put a little effort into it.

Also, welcome to The Escapist.
What he said.

You might have done that with the graphics part but I don't see how screenshots show anything about AI.
