I don't knot about you guys but i am pumped for FarCry3...assuming they don't go down the same path as FarCry2. Assuming they don't ruin it like its prequel, what kind of new features would you like to see in the game?

Well, I haven't seen a lot of gameplay footage from Far Cry 3, but if it's as large as Far Cry 2...

they did have the bus's in FC2 but i know what you mean. Nothing pissed me off more then the fact 3 shots from an AK caused your Jeep engine to start smoking.

Honestly, I'm a bit disappointed that it still has a tropical setting. I was sort of hoping that after that one interview they'd decided to set it in the Antarctic instead of saving it for the 4th, but nevertheless I'm still excited, if only for the map editor.

Sorry, sorry, I don't really want to piss on your parade. And don't get me wrong, I have nothing inherently against the genre. Several of my all-time favourite games are FPSs. But it's been done so, so, so, sooo many times. A FPS has to bring something downright fucking amazing to the table for me to give the slightest of shits.

I'm just not getting the 'something amazing' smell from Far Cry 3. Sure, the mechanics looked polished and the definition-of-insanity guy was sorta interesting. But given the current market saturation, that just isn't going to cut it.

In short, FC3 looks like the kind of game I buy about a year after release for $15 during a Steam sale. Then I half-heartedly play it while waiting for something genuinely interesting.

All the stuff about FC3 has pumped my up about it pretty good, so I'm really hoping it'll be fun.
Haven't played car Cry 1 or 2, so i don't really know what to expect or want.
So, yeah. Fingers crossed and all.
