So long as the story isn't pretentiously written with overdone and pointless allusion while trying to be Spec Ops: The Line with none of the creativity or subtlety, I might look into it.

Looking forward to this. I can imagine that driving vehicles will be interesting although this also means we will have to ditch crocodile jump scares.

Loving what I hear so far, if it's true.

Hopefully the main character isn't a complete wimp like Brody this time.

I'll wait for more info on the game, I've enjoyed all the titles in the series but I've struggled with each sequel in terms of getting into it. This seems all right so far.

Make Vaas the protagonist! It'd be easy to make up some reason why he didn't die since that whole section of FC3 made zero sense.

He's dead, sorry but he's not coming back, it didn't make since because my theory is Jason was on drugs (as usual) my theory was Vaas actually injected him with drugs and not the knife we saw in the game.

Hopefully FC4 will rely less on QTE events for dealing with boss battles and give us more options like Dishonored or GTA. Either way I loved FC3 and Blood Dragon and look forward to this. Though I suspect we'll see the same tigers, bears, and leopards we saw in 3.

Eh, I'm gonna call BS on this one. I mean, c'mon. Ridable elephants? How would that even work? An emphasis on hunting local fauna? Far Cry isn't exactly Dangerous Hunts here. More like The Most Dangerous Game.

Holy crap talk about being right on the money. I remember telling my friends that FC4 should be in a snowy environment.

I loved Far Cry 3 to death, but I dunno, part of the reason I loved Far Cry and Far Cry 3 (and Crysis) so much was I just love the tropical island setting. The gorgeous jungles, the water, the foliage, the beaches. Something about the Himalayas just sounds really boring comparatively, almost like it's gonna the northern section of "Skyrim" with firearms.

But I'll wait till the game comes out to pass judgment, fingers crossed that it's good.
Well one of the common features of the Far Cry series is gorgeous vistas and stunning locations, the Himalayan Mountains certainly qualify as that. That has been one of my favourite things about the series even with the gameplay flaws they tend to have, they are not the usual trashed cities or post apocalypse grey worlds explored through corridors.

Tropical islands, African bush and now the Himalayas, it fits in quite well.
Oh I'm sure the game is going to be gorgeous, tropical islands are just my personal preference of locations, I love the water, the beaches, the jungle, etc. something we're likely not gonna be see in this game.

Excellent, now I can relive my days as a three year old in Nepal, riding elephants and walking around the Himalayan foothills. Only now with guns.

Chances are Vaas sniffed so much coke off of that knife that tripping balls was an unintended side effect of getting stabbed.

Can we see ski'ing please? In combination with gliders that'd be so awesome.

This... actually makes me interested. Finally set in snow biome (my favourite), looks to get out of the grips of "fire physics is the best part of the game" and this may just end up good. Let's hope its not another Far Cry 2 cashgrab.

I wander if they will release FC3 and blood dragon on GOG when they release this. It would be nice if they released all FC games on GOG DRM free, but we live in hope

It is Far Cry, after all...
