Elimination Chamber isn't a thing anymore, which in some respects is good, since gimmick PPVs are often less than ideal, but in other respects is a disappointment, since now we've just got a generic PPV which seems like it doesn't serve a whole lot of purpose. But, hey, whatever. Here is Fast Lane.

WWE World Tag Team Championship Match: The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) vs. Cesaro and Tyson Kidd

Prediction: I feel like it's The Ascension's turn next to challenge for the Tag Team Championships, so the champions need to be babyfaces. That comes in the form of The Usos. So, it's likely that they retain here. I'd love to see Cesaro and Tyson Kidd win here, but I just don't see it happening.

Random Thoughts: Isn't it great how two of the best in-ring Divas the main roster possesses have been relegated to cheerleaders here? Yeah...

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: Bad News Barrett vs. Dean Ambrose
http://i38.servimg.com/u/f38/16/09/70/40/clipb132.jpg

Prediction: Barrett just got the title back. Ambrose frequently loses PPV matches without it hurting him. One has to wonder how long that can continue, but I'm guessing it happens at least one more time at Fast Lane. Barrett really doesn't need to lose the title right now, and Ambrose doesn't gain a whole lot from winning it, so I'm going to guess Barrett retains.

Random Thoughts: Remember Ambrose's last singles title run? We really don't need a repeat of that. To be fair, it probably wouldn't be like that a second time, but one has to worry.

Ryback, Erick Rowan, and Dolph Ziggler vs. Seth Rollins, Big Show, and Kane
http://i38.servimg.com/u/f38/16/09/70/40/clipb133.jpg

Prediction: Let's have the heels win one here, huh? J&J Security could interfere, or the heels could cheat. Rollins, Big Show, and Kane need a win more than at least Ryback and Ziggler. Rowan may or may not be a lost cause. I think the heels win this one.

Random Thoughts: This was so hastily slapped together and doesn't seem to matter at all. It's just a bunch of people who needs to be on the show thrown together into a match.

Goldust vs. Stardust
http://i38.servimg.com/u/f38/16/09/70/40/clipb134.jpg

Prediction: This is a feud we've been teasing for years, or so it feels, and it deserves a spot on a WrestleMania card. As such, there's no way that this match ends cleanly or definitively. Expect some sort of countout or disqualification -- if there's a winner, it'll be Goldust, but not cleanly. This is unless WWE decides the feud doesn't deserve to be on the 'Mania card, in which case, Stardust goes over clean.

Random Thoughts: There's no way the feud ends here, right? If it does, WWE will have done a disservice to both men.

WWE United States Championship Match: Rusev vs. John Cena
http://i38.servimg.com/u/f38/16/09/70/40/clipb135.jpg

Prediction: Cena wins, but by disqualification of countout. Cena's above the title, and having Rusev's "undefeated" streak be broken a month before WrestleMania doesn't make any sense. Cena will probably win, because he usually does, but he won't break Rusev's streak and he won't get the title.

Random Thoughts: It would've been nice if this feud was more focused on the title, but it's become a secondary thing that was tacked on randomly.

WWE Divas Championship Match: Nikki Bella (with Brie Bella) vs. Paige
http://i38.servimg.com/u/f38/16/09/70/40/clipb136.jpg

Prediction: Nikki retains. This is mostly just a gut feeling. Nobody knows what the WWE is doing with its Divas, so I'm certainly not going to claim to know. I've just got a feeling that Nikki gets to keep the title.

Random Thoughts: If Paige won by Brie turning on Nikki, then we could have our "Bella showdown" match at 'Mania. But that would mean there'd be no Divas Championship match given how crowded the card is looking, so that's unlikely to happen.

Roman Reigns vs. Daniel Bryan
http://i38.servimg.com/u/f38/16/09/70/40/clipb137.jpg

Prediction: The plan was always for Reigns to win, and I hope WWE sticks with its convictions and lets Reigns pull off the victory. Bryan had his shot last year, and while Bryan/Lesnar would be a better match than Reigns/Lesnar, WWE caving at this point would be silly.

Random Thoughts: I could see this ending in a tie, setting up a triple threat next month, but I just don't want that to happen. Let Reigns sink or swim on the biggest stage.

Fast Lane is here to set up WrestleMania, and it'll be interesting to see what happens.

I'm not sure if the Wrestlemania 31 match would be a triple threat again. What i think is going to happen is either:

A. The WWE caves, Roman loses, and sets his sights on the USA title next since, as you said, it's not a title the top billed wrestlers typically carry while Bryan goes for Lesnar.

B. Roman wins, beats Lesnar, and then Rollins cashes in, gets the title, and the aborted feud between the two is renewed.

Regardless of what happens, i don't think Lesnar is going to retain. I think he'll lose the match or Seth will cash in and he'll lose the title that way. I don't think he plans on sticking around the WWE for much longer.
