I'm never cold, but I'm often too warm. Iono... it's a trade-off I suppose. It doesn't affect one's social life as much as some guess. I've had tons of friends and good-looking girlfriends and I hardly ever get made fun of except by total losers.

Speaking from current experience, even if you don't yet have any of the problems associated with being overweight, heart problems, joint pain etc, being fat still sucks because your social life goes to pot. There are the few people who don't treat you like a disgusting freak and they become your friends. Although I have been told that's more psychological on my part because I see myself as a disgusting freak, erego others will see the same. Bottom line, being fat is never good.

I imagine that if you have more fat on your body then you don't burn off any energy... at all.

i agree with you. i have some health problems and the medication that i take made me gain a little weight and i can tell that people treat me differently. also i just feel more shitty about myself than usually.
I've never known any different, maybe that's why I feel the way I do about myself. Although saying that, having shit thrown at you out of cars along with insults, kinda lets you know you don't fit into the social norm. Being 6'8 doesn't help, you can't get clothes like everyone else has, it's difficult to drive to small cars, can't go on shit like roller coasters, just little daily reminders that you are actually a half-Ogre lol.

You wouldn't live longer. Fat is a form of carbs that is harder to break down than normal. You'd have to do more work than normal to convert that fat into energy that can be used.

Question. Theoretically, would this be correct. If you had huge amounts of fat on your body, but this didn't cause any of the problems it usually does (heart disease, etc.) would actually live LONGER, because you have more energy to run off? Discuss.
Its just been released in a long term study (25years) of Macau Monkeys that those on a strict calorie controlled diet live much longer and show much reduced signs of ageing and mental demilenation.

This is the closest study to humans so far, its pretty well documented in mice already. The problem is susceptibility to famine; fat people obviously do better in these situations!

You'd beat anybody in a fair fight. They can't hit you where it hurts and you can just squash 'm between your bodeh and the wall.
