I'm conflicted. On the one hand, my track record with fighting games is best described as 'bad', and I still haven't done more than scratched the surface of Street Fighter 6's World Tour mode. But on the other hand... well.
World Tour has you fight the AI so don't worry about it too much, the real meat is fighting vs people and learning to play based on human thought and behavior patterns. The AI just literally reads your inputs and intentionally lets itself get hit a certain percentage of the time based on the difficulty setting. So playing it is a totally different animal.
There's a new open beta coming up next week so give that a go and see how you feel about it. My 2 cents for this game is that if you're gonna decide to invest a lot of time in a new and upcoming fighter, this is clearly the best one to choose from, cause the skill ceiling is nigh infinite thanks to the system mechanics like just defense and how guard cancels work. And SNK is one of the very few fighter devs who is still respecting their old school legacy so they deserve the win with this one.
Heads up, beta starts in 9 hours as of the time of this post going up!
