Rolling Thunder for me as well, but I'd add Ghost and Goblins, Gauntlet and Street Fighter 2.

Simple enough question, What is your favourite arcade game? Like the ones you find in an arcade. Maybe not even your favourite but the one that suckered you to spend the most money on it. A nice explanation would be appreciated, as to why you spent so much time and money on one game.

I gotta go with the original "Star Wars". You know, the one that shows everything in green outlines. I don't know why, but even to this day, I have always been addicted to that one arcade game.

Gauntlet and Area 51. Fighting games like Tekken and Soul Calibur are always fun.

Dancing Stage Supernova (Essentially DDR done properly, its the 10th/11th in the series), In The Groove, Pump It Up Pro. F-Zero AX. The Japanese Dog Walking Game in my local arcade. And the original Space Invaders, which was the buggiest game in history.

the Teenage mutant ninja turtles game was, and is the greatest arcade game of all time.
oh and on the newer end of the spectrum Geometry wars retro evolved 2 is the greatest xbla game

There was a game at a pizza place near where I live called Cyber Sled. It was like piloting a mech. It had levers for controls and everything.
I also really liked the Ninja Turtles game and an old X Men game.

I totally forgot about Rampage! Easily my favorite arcade game. Once I got the console edition, me and a friend of mine played nothing but that game for the longest time. Never actually finished it together, though. I had to complete it with my brother.
