I love hipsters, but not their music. Isn't that odd?

OT: My taste in music is kinda all over the place. Let's go with Metallica, In Extremo, Cage the Elephant, Gorillaz, Pendulum, and Seether. Yeah, I can't pick just a few.

I'd have to go with Bumblefoot, Megadeth (obviously), and The Beatles.
METALLICA(not Megadeth) and old Linkin Park, none of that Minutes to Midnight/New Divide garbage. Sorry, but i enjoy butting heads with Megadeth fans b/c it always starts compelling arguments, no intention of starting an argument for the sake of an argument.
You can't correct an opinion on which band is better, dude. And you said you enjoy butting heads with Megadeth fans but aren't trying to start an argument for its own sake. I see your nose is growing, Pinnochio.

OP: Be aware of the search bar, as this is hardly a new thread idea.

OT: Mastodon, High on Fire, Tool, Dream Theater, Pig Destroyer, Clutch, Stanton Moore Trio, and Ozzy/Black Sabbath.

Between the Buried and Me and Scale the Summit are the two big ones for me.

If you want to check them out, I suggest Ants of the Sky and Prequel to the Sequel for BTBAM... hell, just listen to the whole damn album (Colors). For Scale the Summit, try Sargasso Sea, The Great Plains, and Dunes.

All great, great stuff. BTBAM is considered Progressive Death Metal I think, and then Scale the Summit is jazz-metal or some funky crap.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers. Since the invention of music, it was all just a precursor leading up to them and when they went on hiatus, music as we know it held its breathe...

Ok, so that may have been a tad dramatic but seriously, if I was trapped on a desert island with a magic CD player that didn't need electricity and could only have one album, it would be Californication.

For me it's been Queens of the Stone Age. Them Disturbed and Flogging Molly. Along with many classics like Steve Miller Band and Creedence Clearwater Revival.

It's a toss up between The Fall of Troy, Between the Buried and me, Norma Jean and Pure Reason Revolution, depending on my mood.
