Ah well, I'll go for this:

NO! WAIT! THIS!

That's one of my favorites, it's so epic, can you imagine just making a sandwich to this song?

That would be one epic sandwich, that's for damn sure.

Tons of favorites.

Here's a couple that stand out.

Also, nearly anything from the Devil May Cry games. Easier to list the ones that aren't awesome (basically just the final boss theme from Devil May Cry 2).

Right, this one is confusing me as it may the rest of you, but for all the memories I have of simply wonderful music composed for Squaresoft's games across the SNES and PSone (Celes' Aria de Mezzo Carattere from FFVI and Frog's theme from Chrono Trigger to name a couple), for some reason this is what first popped into my head at the title of this thread:

(note: if you have an aversion to techno/trance music, don't press play)

True it's from an arcade racing game (where I'm counting each individual race as a 'boss' battle), but this theme just stuck in my head even though I couldn't stand the game that long (like, 3 years now). Of course, I am a fan of Yuzo Koshiro (especially his work on Streets of Rage as a series), so that probably has an effect.

Still, I think I should start paying more attention to boss battle themes *shrug*

Red Dead Revolver had a lot of great music, but this is one of my favourite songs.
