Favorite browser game.

Chances are most people have been able to afford real games, but I have not, and so I have to resort to browser based flash games and I got to thinking about what the best flash game I ever played was. I finally decided it was a fun little puzzle game called Chronotron by Scarybug, so more to the point: what was the best flash based browser game you have ever played? I'm always looking for good ones since it will be a while before I can pay for any games.

Well it's the one I spent most of my time now, haven't played for 3 years anymore but still, you have to acknowledge that it's a good game..

I would propably say Quake live, battlefield heroes, genre wars, desktop tower defense. Try quake live, it's awesome.

i've played quite a few but the best i've found to be Mud And Blood 2, its awesome and addicting, also just generally defense games

check out kongregate it's the best website for flash games that i've seen. it has an achievements systems similar to xbox and you can join chatrooms while your playing. also look at open source games like the ones built off the cube engine 10 best open source games http://tech.blorge.com/Structure:%20/2009/02/15/top-10-best-open-source-games/

Portal the flash version is great!
Fancy Pants 2 is pretty fun.
Oh and Chronotron is one of my favorites.
The impossible quiz 1 & 2 are quite addicting.
Karoshi is quite amazing.

But I guess my favorite is "Super Crazy Guitar Maniac Deluxe 3" because now I can't stop holding my keyboard like a guitar anytime I listen to music.

Hex Empire is the most addictive one I've found. Really fun.
Also I found Magic Duel to be very original but kind of boring to play overall. It is worth the look though.

I was going to put forward BTD3 as a matter of fact, but instead I'll say King of Drift. A very fun game, even if it's not a "racing" game in the strictest sense.

A game you play IN a browser, as apposed to "download from browser & account is on broweser, but actual game is on desktop?" Uh...back in 2003, they had some games I enjoyed at Neopets. Some kind of Ice Cream Factory, a maze, & an old-school fantasy RPG. Two of them were fun but seriously annoying, because they were Java-based & the entire page had to refresh every goddamn step you took.

& there was a very short oldschool flash-based RPG done in classic Final Fantasy/Zelda/Chrono Trigger/Secret of Mana style called "Mardek" a two-part game with a sence of humor.
