I'm gonna have to go with Drizzt Do'Urden during the Dark Elf Trilogy. He kicks everything's ass; he kills a basilisk while he's still practically a teenager.

Any given Link from a Zelda game in which the hero embarks on a journey during his childhood. Also, Romani from Majora's Mask is flat-out adorable. So much character jam-packed into one semi-minor NPC.
Also, we can't forget Tails. Or at least, when Sega remembered that he was a major character with an IQ of around 300.
And I certainly shall not forget about the Cutie Mark Crusaders from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, the heroes of either Avatar animé (Toph's been my favorite), or Yukari Sendo from Rosario + Vampire. She may be in high school but she's still eleven years old.
