It would probably be the good ol' Disney cartoons, At least before they sold their soul to money and childsafe programs.

Then there's Tom & Jerry and Tintin of course.

EDIT: Jeez, I almost forgot Justice League. Pure Awsomeness.

Pinky and the Brain. I also remember watching something about two beavers who were brothers, can't remember the name of it though.
That'd probably be "The Angry Beavers".

For me it is, without a doubt The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. They were heroes in a half-shell AND they had turtle power!

Me too, but I am going to offer a warning to all SPC fans: Do not ever think "hey that was a great show, I should look up some old episodes."

As it turns out, it was only coloured awesome by our innocent children's eyes. It's seriously not so great. Keep that memory, cherish it, never relive it.

I remember I grew up reading Calvin and Hobbes.
Otherwise I think my answer has to be Wallace and Gromit... a little obvious but tried and true.

Favourite cartoon as a kid was Transformers off course, everything started going downhill in the 90's and turned to crap in the 00's /rant

The Cartoon Cartoons had some nice shows though, most notably Johnny Bravo
Transformers was the be all and end all of my cartoon childhood, specifically the original movie.

Let's see... There were the looney tunes, Tom and Jerry, Thundercats, SWAT Kats, The Superfriends, then later there was DBZ, and Invader Zim. I would watch these shows whenever, they were on, but I would watch more of looney tunes and Tom and jerry than anything else.

Beyblades, probably. I had a lot of those buggers, used to play at recess with the guys while the girls... Brushed their hair or whatever, I don't know.

[sub]I also had a crush on Rei.[/sub]

Looney Tunes!

Tom and Jerry

Courage the Cowardly Dog

Most of the Scooby Doo variations (13 ghosts was one of my faves), Johnny Quest, Popeye, and some others that got carried over from decades past at like, 2 in the morning

Animaniacs

Dexter's Lab (the first iterations, not the later ones where the animation, story, and laughs all went to shit)

Toon Heads

The Chuck Jones/Tex Avery/Bob Clampett cartoons/shows(my heroes)
