Alright, I want to see everyone's favorite comedic characters. It can be from anything, movies, games, TV, etc. If they're funny, they count.

I'd have to go with Hannibal King from Blade Trinity. I might be able to think of another, but I just watched it, so it's fresh in my mind. I just laughed my ass off at that part where they're interrogating him, and he reveals the new weapon:

Jarko Grimwood: [grabs Hannibal by the throat] Spit it out, you fucking fruitcake!
Hannibal King: All right, fuck! I'll tell you about the weapon!
[Jarko releases him]
Hannibal King: It's a new flavor-crystal formula. Twice the chocolaty goodness, half the calories. Plus it helps prevent tooth decay. There.

Alistair. Ok, it may be just at the moment, but he is that perfect dorkyness I love and he always makes me well...giggle like a school girl.

Ah, Alistair. So brilliant I had to romance him.
I always roll female characters in RPGs anyway.
... Not gay.

Edit: Oh wait, silly me, I can't just agree.

Lets see. How about. Oh, this is harder than I thought. I found West Dickins in Red Dead Redemption to be quite an amusing character.

His personality, thats the kind of guy I want. When he yelled at me after Redcliff for my choice (fade, no circle) it honestly hurt. (Though all the romancable characters have their charms)

Hah, Alistair drew a lump to my throat at many moments, I can totally agree, aside from the wanting him, ahem. Not gay. I was foolish and made him shout at the auburn haired beauty that was my character (totally not gay, see?) several times, causing him to leave the party once, each time I promptly reloaded, especially after I sort of accidentally got him killed at the end.

I just had a horrifying epiphany that I am Alistair's manbitch.

GLADUS is one of the funniest video game character, but using her as an example is too easy.

For a more obscure comedian, I would have to say Rat-trap from Beast Wars because of his charming wits and racism.

And he has a funny accent!

( As a side note, I also made a female character my first time through DA:O and romanced Allistar. Bastard dumped me after I made him king...

I got the Alistair ending too...but it certainly sets up Awakening better. Only that one time did he ever get dissapointed with me, but my persuasion skill cut it down a bit. Plus I knew which make fun of him lines he liked, so I always made him laugh back...I am about to replay to reromance him again now...

Hmmm... I just can't decide...
Well, it's one of these.
Scorch or Sev from Republic Commando
Joker from Mass Effect
or
Tucker, Grif, or Caboose from Red vs Blue.

The Dad from Fairly Odd Parents, never fails to be funny in a very bizarre way.

Anders in Dragon Age: Awakening is great for a bit of comic relief every now and again. When I first saw him I didn't think I'd like him, but turns out he's pretty cool.

Sheldon from Big Bang theory.

Sure they were all pretty funny and wierd but Sheldon just stood head and shoulders above the rest, he was hilarious.

Also, Ashley and Wrex from Mass Effect were my favourites to bring around because I just loved their wise cracks and general banter. In Mass Effect 2 my two favourite comedics were Garrus and Mordin though I think Garrus moreso because remembering how uptight he was in Mass Effect 1 it was cool to see him crack jokes now.

Finally, I liked Cortana's quips in the Halo games.

I kept Alistair alive but allowed Anora to rule, which lead to a rather nice ending in Awakening where it stated that my character could be seen wandering the wilderness with the man she loved.

With the sudden realisation that this is massive derailing, I'd better think of some more comic relief.

Whatshisface from Mass Effect! Y'know. That guy. Dresses up as Shepard. I could have died laughing when he turned up in N7 armour in the sequel and became 'that character' who makes fun of RPGs and the main character's inevitible kleptomania.

Does Edward Blake count? He was the Comedian after all. But for actual joke making characters it has to be 062 or Scortch from Republic Commandos.

I always liked Fighter from Eight-Bit Theater. Sure, he was stupid, but he genuinely tried to do what was right, and even Thief admited that he may have been the smartest of the four of them.

Also? Sword-Chucks.

'pologies.
