Since watching Monty Python when i was young i've enjoyed comedy sketches, yet i find i rarely watch them, luckily i have lots of free time over the christmas period not working and so i must ask if you can suggest some of your favorite comedy sketches to me to watch?

P.s Monty Python suggestions are of cause welcome as you can never have to much

I've actually made my family and closest friends PROMISE to play the Python "Funeral Arrangements" sketch at my funeral.

Fsking BRILLIANT. (Tho, there is an audio version that was a lot longer, and much funnier, but still, you get the idea.)

Otherwise...yeah, it would have to be a Python sketch for me. :D

You, ain't seen me... right?!

I love The Fast Show, it's more dear to me than Monty Python even if it did follow a similar format it just struck the right nerve to make me laugh.

<spoiler= Plus Johnny Depp as an Englishman being an American who's trying to be an Englishman>

The Young ones, where the washing machine throws up Vyvian's clothes. I've never laughed so hard in my entire life!

I couldn't find anything on youtube for it so I'll post my second favourite - the university challenge :D

Anything from Robert Schimmel, Lewis Black, George Carlin (R.I.P.), Dave Atell or Dara O'Briain.

Take a bite out of any of their routines and watch that and you will still laugh your ass off.

The Fast Show is probably the best sketch show ever made. Buy the DVDs as soon as you can.

It's Brilliant!

Monty Python's Dead Parrot Sketch has to be the pinacle of comedic excellency.

I also would recommend the Fawlty Towers episode "The Germans".

I was watching the spanish inquisition and the four yorkshiremen earlier, it's actually what inspired me to make this thread as an attempt to get more. I also quote you as i am intrigued by these two ronnie sketches :)
