Who is your favorite comic, mine personally is Image because of the diversity and the quality of their comics and stories

Back when I read comic books it was Marvel because they had the stories I actually wanted to read. I enjoyed DC for a time but then Neo 50 blue happened and ruined half the series I liked and cancelled the other half. Today it's pretty much only Darkhorse by virtue of them publishing the English versions of some of the Manga I buy.

I quite like Avatar Press, but that is mainly because it publishes my favourite comic series, which is Doktor Sleepless. I love that it is quite different to a lot of other things out there, and is the only comic that I read nowadays.

I'm rather fond of Vertigo myself. It gave us the Sandman and Lucifer, after all.

Whatever, just wash your hands.
IDW publishing, they do the mlp comic which is pretty awesome. All the other comics I like tend to be self published. Like Girl Genius and Digger.

I suppose Dark Horse, but only by extension that they do tie-in comics to properties that I'm already familiar with. There aren't that many comic series that I'm into when they're the primary medium, and when they are (Tintin, Asterix, Calvin and Hobbes, etc.), it's more based on author than publisher.

IDW because they make my nostalgia look awesome in comic form...

Other than that, it's a tie between TokyoPop and Yen Press... only because they published similar translations at different times...

Egmont [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egmont_Group], responsible for publishing Donald Duck in Scandinavia.

Get's a golden star in my book for treating Don Rosa [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don_Rosa] decently.

Image Comics as well these days. The sheer variety of artistic experimentation, theme and general content variation is nearly unbound. Favourites so far include Genius, ODY-C, Shutter, Saga, Prophet, Low, Bedlam, Vikings and Zero. I could go on, but good lord there's a lot.

Also an honourable mention for Vertigo for not only giving us Gaiman's Sandman and its spin-offs, but also my favourite 'long series' DMZ, and also Fables, Joe the Barbarian, Punk Rock Jesus and the original Hellblazer.

Don't forget Death. I got a stand alone featuring her for my birthday, The High Cost Of Living, and it really brought back that brimming urban mystique that was starting to slowly drain from Sandman round about the halfway point.
