The Tarrasque

Stats here [http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/tarrasque.htm]

When your group is getting uppity, have a Tarrasque run over them.

Then have it vomit on them, just to rub it in.

There's so many good ones that, as a player, I enjoy killing or, as a DM, enjoy using. The classic Kobold pack never gets old. Boneclaws and Astral Stalkers are pretty sweet. I'm a fan of using sub-species of Dragons and Elves. Zombies are a pretty good challenge. Humans with a couple levels of Ninja from Oriental Adventures make decent encounters. Djinni can be fun to play against.

I like just about all the monsters in D&D. Except Beholders. Fuck you, Beholders.

Ahh the Tarrasque.. the beautiful, massive, perfect death engine...

For me though I have to go with some of the basics, Kobolds will always hold a very dear and special place in my heart. Those little guys never give up, always willing to throw more and more dozens of themselves out, oblivious to the fact that they are nothing more than exp fodder for even the most fragile of adventurers.

Behold, the Mortiverse:

http://www.enworld.org/forum/2873260-post1.html

Someone asked the question "What's the highest challaenge rating creature there can possibly be?" The response? The Mortiverse, the most powerful creature possible. How strong is it? The damage it does is written in scientific notation.
How do you kill it, you may ask? Well, firstly, you must reduce it's health to 0, which is no small feat given that it has 1,584,563,250,000,000,000,000,000,000,000d1000+ 627,710,173,312,402,500,000,000,060,213,403,500,00 0,000,000,000,000,000,000 HP, and the fact that it regenerates at a retarded rate, and especially since it has a crap load of other skills and generally how powerful it is. Then, you need to use Wish or Miracle to finish it off, and the Wish/Miracle must bypass its Spell Resistance, which pretty much means that the Mortiverse needs to roll a natural 1 on its save. Even if you do kill it, when it dies, it implodes in on itself, and sucks anything within its reach (LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG distance) into a void unless you make a reflex save of 831,895,706,300,000,000,000,000,000,108.

As for physical qualities, it's about half as big as the known universe, and is classified as a Octodecaogdoad Nona-Macrobe Amidah Apocalyptic Black-Hole-Spawned Legion Elder Unelemental.

Best. Monster. EVAR.

Couldn't you wish All Mortiverse's in excistances Hearts into a sun 60 trillion lightyears away? Just the hearts, thus killing all Mortiveres? Or will that take a few more wishes?

Hydras have always been my favorite, Whenever a group run into a hydra something weird or funny is gonna happen (well at least that's my experience :)).

I believe there's only one Mortiverse in existence.

Well, two problems with that. Firstly, it would still get its magic resistance check, and secondly, I don't believe it does have a heart. It just is.
