Exactly what the topic says. What Dlc/User-Generated content do you believe really added to the game in question, and why?

For me, the Challenge Rooms in Bioshock. Fun times. Like trying to kill four big daddies (one of each type) with only a wrench and plasmids on normal difficulty.

Oh, and no downloadable expansion packs, like Burning Crusade or Shivering Isles.

And yes, I used the search function, and nothing came up.

I really like the HDR Graphical Enhancement and Panoramic Skies mods for Mount and Blade.

Simply put, they just make the game look beautiful and more on par with current standards of graphics in games.

They bring the graphics up to the same standard as the game play, which makes a great game even greater.

Garry's Mod allows you to play Half Life 2 levels with Episode 2 graphics, which is nice sorta.

The Vile Lair in oblivion. It kept me from having to do that stupid vampire quest

genital shaped creatures in Spore...

on a more serious note: the custom skins and tracks for trackmania really broaden that game out a lot. Especially the 5 star rated tracks. (you still get some ordinary tracks, but some are better than the originals.)

Elder Scrolls for last few games has led to some absolutely BRILLIANT content as well. ALl the cheat content aside there is stuff that make it harder AND more user friendly at the same time. Scalable creatures and bandits are my favourite mods. (and auto harvest)

Those are the two games that stick out most in my mind. Started off as brilliant games, and becamse even MORE brilliant as the mod community took hold.

SI for Oblivion it was the greatest game i have ever played in my life and was just so full of dark humour (a return to elder scrolls roots i think)

The map Kriegstadt for Red Orchestra, I'm not going to elaborate because A. I'm tired and B. If you've played it (and I'm guessing few, if any, here did) you'll understand what I mean.

Being able to play as Darth Sion in The Force Unleash appealed greatly to my KotOR 2 fanaticism. But as i've only had access to DLC for a few days, this may change.
