In response to the Favorite Fallout 3 Weapon thread I decided to make a favorite armor thread. Now it doesn't have to be the most protective, or give you amazing stat boosts, it just has to hold a special place in your heart. Now my favorite armor is the Winterized T-51b Powered Armor you get from Operation: Anchorage DLC http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Winterized_T-51b_Power_Armor It looks cool, it's a homage to the original game, it cannot break, it gives terrific defense and who doesn't like rad resistance? So what's your favorite armor in Fallout 3?

I didnt dare wear that armour, for fear i would damage it.

I just wore the Enclave Power armour, plenty of them around so it was easy to repair.

Actually that's a difficult question for me. Most are interesting, though I think I'm going to have to say the Talon company armor or Enclave power armor but that's a little lame as I just sort of liked the look of the helmet. So strictly aesthetics, Talon company combat armor.

The armor itself has an HP of 10 million and the helmet has 1 million HP, you cannot and I repeat, CANNOT break this armor!

The winterised T51b is awesome because it doesn't break, and it looks awesome but it only gives you rad resistance which isn't that useful as by around level 20 i had 150+ rad aways and rad xs'. Some of the named T45ds like lindens outcast armour give great buffs but still damage quite easily.
Personally i like the prototype medic armour because it has a little flag on one shoulder XD
But my favourite looking is the winterised combat armour and helmet. it just looks awesome and just like the winterised T51b it doesn't break. Yay for gary 23 :p
The best use i found for the enclave power armour and tesla armour was trading it to the outcasts for stimpacks and 5.56 ammo.
Of course, I always go out in the T51b as it doesn't break and I can't be bothered fixing armour all of the time.

Personally I found the vanilla armours too bland, which is why I love how the PC version can be modded, I was usually strutting around the Wasteland in either Grey Knight Terminator or Justicar armour, Space Marine style.

When I played it on 360 though, it was usually either the T51-b Winterized version, or the Ranger armour.

I used the Stealth Suit. I like to either snipe from afar with my 100 small guns or 100 energy weapons, or rip them apart with the shock sword and my 100 melee weapons.

The Merc Troublemaker armour was my favourite, with its ammo belts and practical design. Went really well with a gas mask, too.

The Chinese Stealth Armor if you get it as soon as you leave the vault made half of the game so much easier... [small]easier to steal stuff[/small]

But I did like the protype medical armor when it shoted stuff at you during battle.

"Time to Kick Some Ass!"

God I loved that!!!

MODS WHERE. I would very much like a suit of Astartes Mk. III armor, and maybe hope to find a bolter and chainsword somewhere.

On topic though, I like the Redeemer hat and duster. It just made me feel so badass, waltzing into towns and claiming bounties on evildoers everywhere.

In original Fallout 3, The Roving Trader outfit, and bandana. Now I use a mod, an 'urban' Field Jacket outfit, with Bandana, Biker Goggles, and a cigarette. (Also a rucksack, how could I forget.)

I don't mess around with "armor". I roam around with a semi Rifle or Shotgun, like the M14 and Benelli shotty.

My dog sports a leather coat, and a set of saddlebags.

Pic Related: (though it's hard to see the detail.. can't be bothered to do another..)

Yes, Dogmeat is carrying a Teddy Bear, a tank of water, and even a bottle of vodka adjacent to the bear on the other side.. lol. Waster's best friend.

I don't know if this is considered as armor, but Col. Autumn's uniform looked pretty sweet.
