Haven't been any funny glitches in my play through, just anal ones where I have to baby sit NPCs on their retarded attempts to walk across the map.

Glitch - A minor malfunction, mishap, or technical problem.

I would call anything out of the ordinary a glitch, hence validating unholyavenger13's first 'comment'.

A couple where people I need start fleeing and run away from me.

For example that chick that I give the fingers too (That sounds wrong) She fled, and now I can't find her, and I've got a whole lot of fingers to give her (Again, i apologize)

She usually runs to the West, towards that huge overhead road.

It can also be prevented by going in to stealth mode before entering a door, if it says "caution" don't bother entering a door because that's the thing that causes people to flee.(the "combat" flag doesn't get cleared when you enter a new area, so NPCs that aren't supposed to fight will flee from the source of the 'threat')

The Scout minigun glitch in TF2.

Good times.

EDIT: This is a post that was basically meant to say that all glitches are horrible.

I don't remember any noticeable glitches, other than a few collision detection issues which, needless to say, don't warrant being referred to as "favorite".

Calm down kiddies, glitch in the gameworld doesn't have an Oxford Dictionary definintion (Or atleast I'm fairly certain it doesn't)
OED; Glitch said:
Slang. A sudden short-lived irregularity in behaviour.
...it doesn't need a special 'gameworld' definition; the standard definition works just fine...

A strange glitch just happened to me; I was in the museum of history fighting a Glowing One; I went in to VATS and fired it it's head with my Chinese assault rifle, the bullets became suspended in the air for 30 seconds; then the mysterious stranger showed up and shot the ghoul, sending the poor sod a good 30 metres across the room.

When the enemy AI gets trapped in the enviornment and are easy kills. On the other hand, I hate getting caught in them myself or I have to reload.

Well..probably when all non-brick/tarmac surfaces (i.e. mud etc) suddenly lost all of their usual contact rules. Walking on them meant I sank, then popped up again, then sank. It got nauseating. It was at about the time I was floating away from a Giant Radscorpion that it started raining corpses. Raiders and Super Mutants fell from the sky in bits and pieces, some sticking a little way up and stretching to the ground, and then through it, so there were strange polygon arms about 40 feet high sticking out of the ground like macabre trees.

I also noticed I was being shot at through rocks from a Mutant the other side of a wall of boulders and a house. VATS could target him strangely enough.

I then bobbed under said rock wall, and I could look up to the inside of it, soon I dropped through the scenery only to find myself falling from miles above the map. I eventually landed somewhere near Oasis (which looks pretty good from above, I might add) and died from the fall.

Overall, one very trippy experience.

The game does not allow you to level up when enemies are nearby. You get the notification and then the menu appears when the area is clear.

I like the Deathclaws that can fly. Also, there was one time when I was in Uptown in the Pitt, I walked on a small, broken cinderblock wall and it sent me flying in the air. I died when I landed because it was almost as high as the buidings.

The one that lets you glitch out of Megaton and talk to Stockholm the Sniper. "How did you even get up here anyway?"

Reverse-pickpocketing for clothes you're not meant to have (they clip your Pip Boy), such as Elder Lyon's Robe and the pajamas from Little Lamplight.

There is one building in the game (I forget which one) where headshots are extremely delayed. You can shoot it in the head, it will fall over, and then 5 seconds later it's head explodes.

Gary 23 in Operation: Anchorage. Thanks to him, you can take indestructible weapons and armor (along with a ton of free ammo if you wish to take the time) out of the simulation and into the wasteland.
