I like the Republic of Dave, except it bugged on me and I couldn't "win" it without killing everyone. Don't worry; the KC mod was on, so I could finish the job.
Assuming a non-bethesda mod so good it should be DLC doesn't count, I'd have to say... Minefield. That place sure was tranquil.
Oh, and if that mod does count, the Cube.

I'm about the only Fallout 3 player who genuinely just loved wandering the random wasteland, so for me I'd go with all the bits between all the proper locations.
I also loved wondering about, I do not know for certine but I think I explored 100%

Super-Duper-Mart, Level 4 on Very Hard with an Unarmed specced character. And a pile of Raiders. It was so fun, I declared using guns to be cheating and am now the most condescending person you'll ever talk to about Fallout Triple.

Megaton.. Don't know why.. Just can't bring myself to nuke the place... And I like nuking things...
Same, no matter how many times my friends told me, 'It looks so cool!' I just couldn't bring myself to do it

I can't rightly say stranger, but I can tell you this. I've been on a quest to find the loneliest, most desolate place in fallout 3. The kind of place where if your character just sat down and put a bullet in his brain, nobody would ever find them. I think it's the weapons cache in hamilton's hideaway.
I see your weapons cache and raise you Rockopolis.

The ruins of DC are my favorite. I like that kindof urban combat, and that's where all the Super Muties hang out at.

Northeast of Minefield and directly west of the Temple of the Union, due north of the Regulator HQ.

Have fun finding him!

So many. Tenpenny Tower's gotta stand out though. Not being at location itself, but seeing the place, off in the distance like some kind of nightmarish paradise.

Which leads me to Paradise Falls. Not a brilliant place in itself, but the name conjures up great connotations in my mind.

If I had to choose one though? Actually, it'd probably be the Pitt. Loved the industrialized smog look of the place. Point Lookout also had it's own charm.

Such a great game.

Two places stick out for me.
Mama Dolce's was a great fun time for me, mostly because I love the idea of the Chinese Ghoul troops. I just with they had more importance, enough to be a real faction you could find in the Wastes.
And the big ass radiated crater west of Jury St. Metro Station.
What with the Enclave guys in there, and the Alien Power Cells, all the fun stuff.

megaton...first city you should investigate and it was awesome old western feeling to it

i really wish they would have had a vault tho that was like SUPER tech'd up and they have like an "equilibrium" feeling to it (for those of you who have seen that movie), so when you go in you get all your shit taken away and you have to work your way to cleric and take the vault over and get everyone to be normal or somethin

Well, it'll be a tie between the Pitt and Repub. of Dave.

I like the Pitt since its the BEST DLC in my opinion and I actually like the story that accompanies it, compared to something like Mothership Zeta.

I also like the Repub. of Dave because, no matter what I do, everyone always ends up dead. Even if I'm not trying to.

Gezz, I should play F3 again...
