I think so. But basically, Buu had fun moments, like...Soviet Heavy said:

{2} Buu not wanting to wait for new warriors and deciding to...what the hell...kill EVERYBODY.
{3} Buu VS Gohan the first time and going mad until self-detonation.
{4} Buu VS flying coffee-flavored candy.
{5} INSIDE Majin Buu!
{6} Kid Buu continually blowing up planets.
{7} Kid Buu during the 'toy with the heroes phase', including where he wouldn't stop beating his chest and howling like a monkey...even with a knee in his mouth.
Future Trunks vs (Android?) Frieza. It was the only fight that started and ended in the same episode. The fatality was also brutal as hell which earns it bonus points from me.
It wasn't much of a fight, but when Trunks first appeared and ended Frieza and his dad (King Cold, was it?)
They'd taken DBZ off Cartoon Network for like the entire Summer in the UK and that was the first episode when it came back on.

I know I'm late to the party on this one, but I have a few. The first that comes to my mind is that Majin Vegeta vs. Goku fight. That was just an all-out slug fest, and it had a lot more emotional backing than many Z fights. I always liked the ones where Goku shows up and completely cleans house, like against Nappa and the Ginyus. I love the Goku and Pikkon fight, just plain epic. I also think the most just plain entertaining fight was Super Saiyan Vegeta owning Android 19, laughed my ass off pretty much the whole time. Gohan vs. Cell is kinda obvious, don't really need to go into that one. I really liked the Fat Buu vs. Super Saiyan 3 Goku one too. Plus SS3 Goku vs. Janemba cuz it was just such a spectacle. Goku's fight with Cell was pretty cool too, just has such a "come the f*ck on!" abrupt end to it.
In short, I love a lot of em, but my top 3 are Majin Vegeta vs. Goku, Goku vs. Pikkon, and Vegeta vs. Android 17. With honorable mention to Gohan vs. Cell.

Goku Versus Vegeta was awesome. The Kamehameha versus Gallick Gun struggle was epic. Plus the whole fight is hilarious in DBZ Abridged.
Goku versus Frieza was great, too. Freiza was an all around great villain and when he killed Krillen causing Goku to become a Super Saiyan, you just got chills. Great fight with an awesome villain!
Goku versus Cell. Yes, I know Gohan beat him, but Goku had a better fight. It was more interesting and more even. Gohan went from getting pounded to completely outmatching Cell and the whole fight ended in a beam struggle. Yes, it was an epic beam strugle, but the Goku fight was better.
And Majin Vegeta versus Fat Buu was pretty good, too. Just because it was the first time Vegeta had ever fought for someone else. You could tell how much he changed. And on a fun little aside, I was talking with someone about Vegeta's character development and we theorized that he became a bit of a surrogate father to Gohan. Part of the reason was this fight.

No, it wasn't. People only think this because the series "wasn't as good after that" and that obviously meant Toriyama was forced to write past that point against his will or because he didn't want to create a new series that wouldn't be as successful. This is wrong. At no point was Toriyama forced to continue working on DBZ. Period. The only time he actually considered ending the series was prior to DBZ in Dragonball. While it is true that the "z" in DBZ was Toriyama's way of saying that this is the end of the series, he was never actually coerced to continue the series past the Frieza saga. Gohan vs Cell. Gohan is the most powerful non-fusion character, shame they didn't let him do much after that.
I've always like the "Ultimate" Gohan vs. Super Buu fight. It was short, but Gohan just seemed so cool and calm during the fight, and it was kind of cool to see a previously unstoppable villain brought so easily to his knees. But then, you know, the rest of that crap happened, and Gohan's awesomeness was rather abruptly ended :/
