Sagat - Street Fighter series
Scorpion - MK series (although the Noob/Smoke combination is ultra-cheap awesome)
Ivy - SC series
Vanessa - KoF series
Wolf - Virtua Fighter series
Candy or Mahler - Fighting Vipers
Hitori Hanzo - Samurai Showdown series
Jun - Tekken series

What the fuck does Sakura say when she does her throw anyway?

'No way again?'

'Go away old men?'

'Go, pray, amen?'

Talon or maybe Vertigo from Primal Rage for the SNESquote]
OMFG!!! I loved that game! You could eat the little tribe people! Anyway I liked that purple psychic cobra guy... that was sweet.

Also, most characters from War of the Monsters (PS2) were cool. I love 1950's monsters!

Gado from Bloody Roar 3

And Uranus, same game. Worst name ever. Best hidden character, ever.

Lee Chaolan, he's so dashing. And rather good to play with once you get used to his pace.

Orchid (sp?) from Killer Instinct, or Sub Zero from MK for me...
Although Scorpion does get bonus point for doing 'cooking with Scorpion'...

Kilik from the Soul Calibur games. I really like him as a character and he was so overpowered in III (he still is a bit too strong in IV but not that good compared to III).

J. Talbain from the Darkstalkers franchise is my personal choice. His air game is just as good as his ground game and his specials cover all ranges. His repetoir of moves makes him one very versatile fighter. Not to mention the concept of a British kung-fu fighting werewolf is just awesome.

For badassery, Sub Zero because he can rip peoples spines out and shatter their bodies. For useful fighting character, Kirby from any of the Smash Bros. games because he's near indestructible despite his appearance.
