I like thrillers most of all. An intelligent thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat is the best kind of movie there is for me.

I like action and horror movies as well, and sometimes comedies.

Comedies make me laugh and i like laughing.
Scared of Horrors
dont have the heart for Tragadies
and Thirllers if my idea on what they are is correct are Explosive and awesome
Mysteries are good too, i love Intrigue.

My favourite movie remains The Great Escape though, first movie ever watched and it was great.

It depends on the mood I'm in, but usually Thriller or Action movies.

I like films of all genres they just have to be good, or at least good enough to justify an entire viewing. Basically, if it doesn't insult my intelligence and provokes thought and emotion, its a winner.

1. I don't like films that just use very depressing plot developments to get some kind of cheap emotional reaction out of people (Timmy's dog was killed by a drunk driver and now he has AIDS! HOW SAD!)

2. Monty Python, a thousand times Monty Python.

3. LotR, King Kong (Yes the Jackson one), Avatar was alright. I can't think of many other epics that I like.

4. The Shining, Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal...can't think of the rest.

5. I don't know what really constitutes the mysterey genre, detective movies I suppose?

Most of my favorite movies don't even fit into these genres. :/
