I'm sorry. It's just that I am dealing with the infuriating incompetence of The Force Unleashed and because of that I have a hard time distinguishing fun from... anything.

I mean seriously, who the hell gives a droid heat-seeking missiles that are unblockable, an AoE, an unblockable grapple attack, and the ability to break out of my combos? And then send 5 of them at me!? What kind of developer from hell thought this was a balanced idea that would test my skills? All I can do is electrocute them, dash away hoping that their missiles won't hit me, and then electrocute them again. That's not a strategy, that's a dance coordinated by a wheelchair-bound twelve-year old with ADD. This game drives me crazy!

I haven't played the game, but if there is any indestructable parts of the enviroment, or bodies that don't gib, try using them a shields (You can use force grip right?) and use that to block the missles. I'm assuming of course they are not nimble. Scatter the "shields" around the area quickly, and when they launch missles dash to your shield and raise to to the rocket if possible.

AS for the AoE's, try using "Guerrilla" Tactics, rush in fast, do the most dammage you can, then if you have ANY distant attacks dammage them a little and force THEM to do a attack. from which after they attack generally speaking AoE's are deactivated (AI balancing wise) unless you stay in close for long (another AI Balancing act.)


As for the Grapples, I'd have to see what kinda ***** grappling they are using. Some are more easily dealt with then others (I.E them teleporting behind you and shoving a fist up your toushie, then using you as a funny melee weapon for a while)

Use those, and best o' luck.

Actually, one more thing, have you tried using the other things weapons against each other? I've been in a similar situation before, and I used my oponent as a shield from the rockets, it's tricky as you need to focus on the fight at hand AAAAAND pay attention to the other things attacks.

This generally works if there are more then 4 ish, not so much if it's just one strong guy (It gets easier for the one guy, but you gotta change your tactics a bit)

I dont know that you can call it free exactly, but Portal which came with the orange box was pretty damn good, also just about most of the stuff from kongregate.

Oh boy, do I have a list for you guys. First, there's Survival Crisis Z, a zombie game <url=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.127876#2727549>which I wrote a review on (download link available in review).

Next, there's Iter Vehemens ad Necem (A Violent Road to Death), an excellent graphical roguelike which has years of replayability.

Another game I love is <url=http://shawn64.com/sbf.php>Street Bike Fury,
where you murder tons of dudes with flamethrowers, shotguns and more while on a motorcycle.

An MMORPG I'll mention is Endless Online, which is entirely unmoderated and thus basically 4chan with sprites.

Another graphical roguelike I want to mention is <url=http://users.tkk.fi/jtpelto2/nethack.html>Nethack: Falcon's Eye, which is famous to say the least. It's an amazing game.

The last game I'll mention is AWOL, a top-down shooter which is a lot of fun.

"Gran Turismo What-the-fuck-ever" (I forget which one) and Jet Set Radio Future, which I still consider to be the best game to ever be made on the original Xbox and one of the best games of all time.

Even though I got the game for zilch, I would gladly have paid over a hundred bucks for it.
