any game controler you think was your favorite

mine is the N64 controle purley because of the way its designed
How the hell do people like the N64 controller? I know how to use it, but COME ON! It has 3 HANDLES! You have 2 HANDS! Something is very wrong there.

The PS2 Dualshock is amazing to me, but I think the X360 might be a contender for #1.

I'd have to say the 360 wireless controller. It's very ergonomic and, of course, it's wireless. I just like the way it feels, very comfortable. I don't think I've seen anyone with a 360 that didn't use them.

I also like the 360's wireless controller a lot, the analog sticks are quite perfect. It's a shame that it has one of the worst D-Pad in the world. It is not centered properly, pressing "Up" on it equals to about 15 degrees to the right, which is quite inconvenient for fighting games. But since I prefer sticks, I don't mind as that much. The PS2 is a close second, but it's too small to be comfortable to me for very extended play sessions.

Yeah, I didn't really like the 64 controller. Too many buttons, too many handles. The Gamecube was gorgeous to hold but horrible to use.

Hate to be obvious but for me it's between the 360 controller (the guide button and the bumpers in particular) or the PS3 Sixaxis just because it's so light, the first time I picked it up I thought I missed. Until I figured out it was because it didn't vibrate.

Probably a tie between The N64(love that Z button!) and the Xbox 360. The original XBox was just too chunky and huge! The new one is perfect!

The wii's remote.

Not because of the motion controls, but because I can have my arms away from each other while I game.

I'm with LordSphinx, except I play fighters with D-pads, so it's enough of a problem on the 360 controller for me to put it second behind the PS2 Dualshock.

Now, if they just made a 360 controller with the same weight and size, just a better pad, it'd be no contest. And while we're at it, maybe move the Guide button so I don't hit it as much.

The Standard 360 controller or the Game Cube. The fact that the GC controller's buttons were different shapes and sizes made them harder to confuse. I noticed the 360 copied the idea for A is green and means 'go' or 'accept' in menus while B is red and means 'back' or 'cancel.'

My vote for worst controller goes to Playstation. The fact the buttons have shapes rather than letters is just confusing and makes uniformity among online game guides difficult to achieve. Also, the shapes don't all have one syllable, making verbalizing a button combo (such as in a fighting game) take much longer than if they were just letters.

Gamecube controller, it had a bumper and a trigger built in just one shoulder button, whas extremely ergonomic, and even a 3 year old kid could handle one as good as anyone else, just because of the intuitive design of the buttons.
