Kahjit from Oblivion (probably spelled it wrong but meh)and also the goblins in WoW - they just crack me up.

Let's not forget the koopas and koopalings from Mario,! There's just something cool about a spiked shell, breathing fire and a fist full of WIN! Too bad the only known adult of that race lacks the brains to utilize them properly!

Charr from Guild Wars and all the races from Dragon Age: Origins and Mass Effect....well except for the Volus.

I'm going to be a hipster and say a race from Mass Effect... the Raloi, yeah chow down on that one X D

I better have a Raloi squadmate in ME3.

OT: Pretty much any Mass Effect race.

Oh and while the thread is game races... I can kind of get away with this one because there have been lotr games... Hobbits, do nothing but eat and drink and smoke and relax and have a good time, no cares in the world, those are my kind of people!

I tend to like Human-ish races, so, human (obviously) but also 'rougher' humans such as Dwarves, Nords, etc.

Dwarves > all. They're always awesome in any incarnation, notably the Dragon Age series.

Dwarves. They're short, stubborn, prone to alcohol abuse and good with tech. (elves can keep their airy fairy "one with nature" crap, I want my Steam TANK!)

Orks (Warhammer 40000) They LIVE to fight, their mass migration/holy war/pub crawl is called a WAAAAGH! and they also inject some wacky grimdark humour in 40k ip. (Plus they are apparently based off British football hooligans witch is a bonus)

Gnomes are my favorite.

I also like races similar to gnomes like goblins or the Asari coming up in GW2. Small agile races, basically. Outside of that, it just depends on how the races are handled and I am cool with them pretty much across the board. Elves can get annoying though if they are done with an "emo" undertone. But anything "emo" can get annoying.
