GRAWER! How dare marketing execs MARKET their products?!

None really come to mind for me though. I guess I've never really payed attention to those.

OT: My favorite has to be the Halo 3 "Believe" marketing campaign with the diorama, despite the game being a disappointment. Imo, it was an artistic masterpiece, probably the best I've ever seen an advertisement try to convey a sense of epic proportion, a desperate struggle for survival, out-right terror and awe-inspiring courage.

I did enjoy those ads, though.

I'm almost embarrassed to admit, sometimes the interactive diorama is more fun than Halo 3. 0_0

Don't be. The Halo universe is actually really good. Ironically the central games focus on the least interesting part of it.

I'll be more than willing to second that, Ive read a lot of the novels & although for the game your shields can take endless plasma shots, Its much better in the book, at lot more suspense.

A silent godly spartan character is a good idea as an adult John Conner kinda dude (someone everyone keeps talking about, and fuck Salvation), but it doesn't work as well when you actually play as the dude.
