I read through the rules, so I hope this doesn't get me in trouble.

This is my first time on the forums, and I would like to get to know what some people like.

I enjoy playing any game, be it an fps or a jrpg. My current favorite, as I do change favorites a lot, is between Indigo Prophecy/Farenheit for its immersion and story.

I am looking forward to getting Heavy Rain, Brutal Legend, L4D2, and Assassin's Creed 2.

It hard for me to choose which game I played is my favorite, but I had to choose one its Banjo-Kazooie.

It was the first game I ever played and I was blown away by its amazing levels, great visuals, and funny humor. It basically got me into gaming and for that, thats why its my favorite game of all time.

My favorite game is Search Bar.

Basically the premise of the game is to use your magical search bar to find threads that have not been done before.

It's an awesome game. I highly recommend it.

Ah Indigo Prophecy such a good game some story of the elements are a bit like The Matrix. Right now I have no favourite though last one was Fallout 2

Hey the guy is new. Let's let him slide. This time.

(Still a pretty funny post. I'd play that game.)

But just to contribute. BF2142. No other game has made me kiss the box more times than that.

Just as a warning, if you do a thread that has been done before, then you're going to get mostly sarcastic bastards telling you in the most scathing way possible to use the search bar. I personally don't mind repeat threads, but I learned the hard way not to anger the deja-nazis.

OT: My favorite game at the moment is Grid, but my favorite game changes almost weekly.

Using the search bar is like the force, sometimes its just 'strong in this one', and other times its not. Some people just can't seem to figure it out. Cut him some slack, he read through the rules.

Welcome to the forums. Here is your welcoming speech:"

I am IdealistCommi, and I am here to ask you a question. Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his brow? "No" Says the man at Ebay, "it belongs to the poor". "No" says the Man at religioustolerance.org, "it belongs to God". "No" says the man at Youtube, "it belongs to everyone". I rejected those answers. Instead; I chose something different. I chose the Impossible. I chose. The Escapist. With a forum where the opinionated would not fear the censor (within reason), where the Moderators would not be bound by petty morality, where the Gone Gonzo would not be constrained by the troll. And with the ache of your fingers (and perhaps a new keyboard), The Escapist can be yours as well...

Anyways: Use the Search Bar next time, this thread has been done before.

OT: My favorite game ever is Tetris.
You sir, have the greatest intro speach ever.

Ok I have three qoutes to state here.

1: "Use the search bar, but since your new here I'll forgive you, after all I made the same mistake."

2: "To answer your post, my favourite game is Portal".

3: "Welcome to the Escapist". (Offers Op a friendly hand shake.)

Spyro the Dragon because it was my first (good) game. It had great levels, incredible music, and was what got me into gaming in the first place. It's too bad what happened to the series.

Knights of the Old Republic
Rise of Nations
Medieval 2 Total War

for FPS i have to say perfect dark, its story was so-so, but it was first game to do non-(out of frame reloading) causing panic when you need to reload, it introduced alt-fires, prone position and semi-smart enemies.
but DOOM is special to me ever since i found a copy of it back in the early 90's,
And for strategy warcraft 1. for the concepts bought, was so good back then, now there is so many ripoffs that dont really deserve to be released, although starcraft takes the spot for best strat game made so far.

Hmmmm still can't decide between Fallout 3 and Half Life 2.

And Oblivion.

And A Link to the Past.

Ah I played that. There was an NPC who kept shooting insulting hints and people who were new to the game.
