Action/Adventure: Does Metal Gear Solid Count? Let's say that. The original is my favourite.
Action/Fighting: I was never really into fighting games. I spent the most time with the original Smash Bros
FPS (Single Player): Deus Ex.
FPS (Multi-Player): Rainbow Six: Raven Shield
RPG: The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind
MMORPG: I've never played one... I might get addicted and spend tons of money.
Strategy: Rome: Total War. Has turn-based and RTS parts.
Real-time Strategy: Very tough one. Starcraft 1/2, World In Conflict, Company of Heroes. I'd have to replay them all to get an answer.
Simulation: Tie Fighter? If that counts as a space combat simulator.
Sports: Deathrow (Xbox). My god that was a great game. I hope some of you have played it. You know what else is underrated? Amped. That game kicked ass.
Racing: Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit. The original one.
Retro: No idea.
Indie: Amnesia: The Dark Descent. Then Braid.
Casual (Free online games): I don't play any.
