In descending order:

CD Projekt RED - I was not fond of The Witcher but eventually the free content, strong PC support, and the Witcher 2's fantastic story drew me in. I can't wait for Cyberpunk 2077.

Bioware - Yes despite the last couple years I still love Bioware. Each game also evoke a strong response from me whether negative or positive which is few I can say for most companies. While writing-wise they have somewhat lost their way, Bioware is still the master of presentation in storytelling.

Valve - It's Valve motherfuka.

Insomniac and Sucker Punch for me. Ratchet, Sly, Spyro, and inFamous are some of my favorite series.

Valve is my favorite, but Rockstar is a close second.
These are the last two relatively large companies who have not compromised their artistic integrity for the sake of pleasing a larger audience.

FROM Software, without question

They've made Dark/Demon's Souls, Ninja Blade and (most importantly) Armored Core! What's not to love?
You, my friend, have excellent taste. I will also put in a vote for...

Clover Studios/Platinum Games

They don't take themselves too seriously, they have ridiculous amount of style, and character oozes from every pore of the titles they make.
...god damn. Ninja, the lot of you.

But also Kojima Productions! Because Hideo Kojima. And Valve and Insomniac are pretty good in my estimation as well. But mainly those first two.

Mine would have to be CDProjectRED (including GOG) with their stance on drm and just how they treat their customers.

Valve, Bioware, Blizzard, Mojang and Double Fine in no particular order. They are the ultimate tag-team of awesome game companies.

I would be lying if I said I didn't like a lot of Nintendo games, but there are fewer and fewer every year.

I I probably would say valve and double fine, but I only know their business practices, I don't use steam, and haven't played any of either's games.
