Favorite Halo Wars unit

I have a strong attachment to my Hunters. It upsets me when they are killed, though I am not sure why. They just seem like such nice crab monsters.

I am pretty enamored with Halo: CE, but not it's sequels. In my opinion, a serious RTS gamer would probably not enjoy Halo Wars. Especially if you have played other RTS games on the console, the controls will make you feel like you're playing with one hand. There is not a single new concept in unit control. They simply didn't include many of the functions that other games do, and called that an improvement. Everything else in the game is either "streamlined" to the point of insanity or used enough in other games to earn the description "classic." My hostility comes from being very excited, and then very disappointed, hehe. It's a good thing I'll be playing Empire: Total War soon.

On Topic: Still, I played the demo, and ODSTs will be a new favorite for the series because of it. But my favorite is definitely the Jackals.

Hunters probably. When all their upgrades are done they look pretty wicked on the battlefield.

I've only played the demo, but I like the jackles for the covenant and the cobra for the UNSC.

Not to this degree. I know I'm a broken record, but I'm afraid that now, instead of looking forward to a better BFME2, I have to settle for Halo Wars clones, or nothing.
