Thought I'd get another JJBA thread going since there seems to be a few fans around here >_>

What's your favorite part out of all 7 (or 8, though it's still going)

I've only got part 6 left to read before I start JoJolion and I think Diamond is Unbreakable was definetely my favorite. The characters, the setting, the villain, it was all just perfect. Okuyasu was definetely my favorite side character in the whole series he was just awesome :D

Yes! Finally, the thread I've been waiting for!
I'd say my favourite has to be a tie between Stardust Crusaders and Diamond is Unbreakable, they both contain some of my favourite characters and battles. Seriously, the final fights of those 2 series rank up there in the best of all time for me.

Id say after that I like the rest of the parts pretty equally, with the exception of Vento Aureo which I do rank a bit lower than the rest, simply because Giorno is actually rather boring compared to the rest of the Jojo's. That being said its still really good, its got some of the coolest fights in the series, its just not quite as good as the other 7 parts.

I actually read part 7 first then went back to part 4 and went from there. I'm not gonna read parts 1-3 because of the anime, so I'm on Stone Ocean right now.

Part 5 was alright, it was the supporting cast that did it, Gio was pretty boring. You'd think being DIO'S SON would be a big deal but nope.

Oh well at least Diavolo got an amazing theme in ASB!

Only watching the anime, but I liked Part 2 the best thus far because Joseph is the best anime protagonist ever, although Stardust Crusaders has a whole lot more episodes to improve.

Jotaro's pretty boring in part 3 personality wise but he gets better in later parts

Part 7 is my all time favorite from the byronic hero that is Johnny Joestar and the loveable asshole that is Gyro. It also helps that I'm a huge fan of westerns so that gives Part 7 some extra points

How many fucking parts is there again? lol
I love the animated series and am waiting until it's over before I read the other parts. UNLESS of course they tease the next part and plan to release it next year, then I'll just bide my time.

Out of the first 3 I really liked Part 2 because Joseph is fucking awesome.

I am only watching the anime, and while Joseph is by far my favorite character from the series (both young and old), I think Part III is quickly outpacing Part II if only because the budget is clearly much higher and every episode has been a blast so far. One thing that upset me about Part III is that Holly isn't in it more. Seriously, she made the first few episodes hilarious. Her and Old Man Joseph are the best father and daughter duo in anime XD

I think the part with Johnathan was the best. He wasn't the strongest or the most brash, but the one that could change a man down to his core with a few simple kind words. That's a whole different kind of strength.

Part 1 had awesome characters like Jonaathan, Dio and Speedwagon, but it just feels...lacking compared to the other parts.

I've only read the first 6 parts, but Part 2 takes the cake, personally, if only because of Joseph.

Part 1 doesn't seem as "rich".
Part 3 and 4 had a pretty big amount of padding (although I'd say 4 has the edge between the two because of Josuke).
Part 5 was pretty silly but I liked it regardless, even if because the villain's Stand is named after my #1 favorite band.
Part 6 would be my second-favorite, since it wasn't too silly (well, a bit but not on the same level as Part 5), and it didn't really pad as much as the previous parts. Although maybe that's because I spent a whole day blazing through it before leaving for a trip the next day.

I haven't read Part 7 yet, but it looks pretty good. The thing is that I have a lot of things to do, so I don't really have any large time window to read a whopping 24 volumes.
Part 7 was the first one I read. It's pretty fucking awesome. Starts off a bit slow but REALLY picks up after.

I still stick by part four it is a perfect storm of greatness.Kira is a very interesting villain with a very scary stand. Josuke really works well as a counterpoint to his predecessor,Jotaro, bit of a old fashioned school punk with a heart of gold.He can be very greedy and this often leads to him screwing up.His supporting cast has quite a few fun chracters and you can feel the friendship between Okuyasu and Josuke.

The stands are much different than part 3's in a way I can't put my finger on,they just seem more creative.Jotaro works much better as a stoic mentor and between here and part 6 made me warm up to the guy. The whole arc oozes creativity and crafts a story that you wouldn't expect from a traditionally shonen battle manga. It's much more slice of life with the battles being much more subdued. It explores the characters everyday lives and how the stands effect them. As a result I feel closer to these characters than I did in Part 3 or 5.

Part 2 and 6 are also awesome the latter mostly for the same reasons I love Part 4 and the former being the perfect shonen battle manga and runs on crazy awesome. Only part I truly despise is Part 5,it feels like a carbon copy of Part 3 with the flaws taken up to eleven. Diavolo is also probably the worst villain in the series being Dio with out the fun.

Although I'm only up to date with the anime, I'll get round to the manga once the anime finishes for now, but I would say Battle Tendency is favourite, Joseph is just amazing, really funny and just awesome, so far my favourite Jojo in the series, but of course my other favourite character is the one and only, Von Stroheim, why? because over the top, cyborg Nazi that's why

For part 2, it would be this scene getting the animated treatment.
Some background info, I knew JJBA thanks to Antfish abridge series which when he did that scene it was using the manga images so seeing it in full animated glory just made that scene even more funnier!

I guess part 3 would be the cherry scene-
Seriosuly how the hell does he do it (I tried it with a real cherry recently)

Well ok my proper favourite of part 3 would be hearing Star Platinum doing the ORORORORORO against Hierophant Green.
