Just looking for some suggestions of games I can play over a LAN. Either PC games (SC2, L4D2... UT?) or maybe PS3 games (for example have 2 PS3s on 2 TVs for 4-8 player).

I know a lot of games are missing LAN for multiplayer these days, though I think if we had to hook up to the net we'd be ok as I have fairly good internet.

Anyway, the games should allow 4+ players if possible :D

Counter Strike. Endless fun. I still play after 8 years and it's still as every bit as fun as the first time.

Yeah I was thinking of CS, or maybe Rainbow 6. I remember having a lot of fun with that one many years ago.

Torchlight 2 will support LAN when that comes out. Still anxiously waiting for that shit.

That's a bit out of the question for Saturday lol, but does the first support LAN gameplay?

Unfortunately the first is only single player :p

As for current games I'd suggest: Age of Empires 2, Diablo 2, Star Wars Battlefront 2 or Halo CE. Don't know why three of those are sequels lol

The first game was tons of fun and had quite a nice modding community online, To be honest I've never played any LAN games, I've been to LAN parties and played quite a bit of offline multiplayer but never any LAN games.

Most of the time either I know only 1 or 2 people with the game, or the game in question is a RTS game which I'm terrible at. I think the closest I've come to LANing is playing L4D2 with 3 of my buddies but we still used steam.

And yes I didn't even LAN at the LAN parties.
