Medic (Blutsagter, medigun/quick fix, amputator)
Scout (shortstop, pistol, holy macarel)
Degroot only Demoman + ulapool

least favorite: Pyro (for being an annoying spammer and quick kills with the axtinguisher)
Sniper (for never joining in the fights)

I actually checked recently i have damn near equal play time with all of them.
Though Demoman is the slight forerunner followed by engineer.
Sniper being the least.

I've got to give my favourite to the Pyro, I just love the whole "firey ambush of terror" thing. That and blowing up demomen with their own grenades is fun when I pull it off. My least favourite to go up against is going to be spies with the Dead Ringer. Just seeing that flaming shadow, knowing I can't kill it- argh. Least favourite to play is going to be Demoman- I'm just rubbish at it.

Being the scout is just amazing. I also enjoy some spy or medic.

I really don't like the soldier. Its just so popular. It gets alot of attention that could go to other classes. And so many people play it.

Spy and Scout because I always have the most fun out of them, middle is Demoman and Pyro cause its based on how good i am that day, and my least favorite is the Heavy and Solider cause they are SLOW! (even though I do best with Solider)

My favorite class would have to be the Pyro. There's just something satisfying about sneaking up behind a group of enemies and setting them all ablaze. That and I find them VERY effective against spies.

My least favorite class would be the Demoman. Don't get me wrong he has his uses, especially in Payload games in which you place sticky bombs all around the bomb cart and blow up unsuspecting victims. But I also find it very annoying having to fight anyone who is playing as one. ESPECIALLY if you're a regular Pyro user like myself. Not only can he blow me up from afar with his grenade launcher or sticky bombs, but he can also one shot me with that charging sword attack at close range. (Not sure what that is, I don't play as him often.) Plus I can't seem to hit anything with his grenade launcher.
From one Pyro to another I have to say : MMhmmf.

But seriously, for demomen there's a few rules. Get close, puff and axetinguish or burn and if they escape to midrange, shotgun them. Sure, you can use WASD + M2, but if you see a sword coming for you, move to the side. However, be very careful of his new Ali's Booties, which allow him to move side to side. o_O

I find killing Demomen to be a decent task. Unless they have a Caber. The only class that gives me real trouble would be the Scout because it's tricky to tie him down for a kill.

Least fave class has to be Sniper. Yes, I happen to play a decent game, but the waiting for a kill then dying to spies, engies or another sniper can only go on for so long before I switch classes.

I've recently started playing Pyro more seriously, with Degreaser, Axtinguisher and Shotgun - and it's really annoying.

I don't WANT to be a W+M1er. But most of the time, even with this combo, it's ten times more effective. If you're a relatively low-health class, or even another Pyro, just flamethrower on its own will kill you far more quickly than any amount of switching. Then I get moaned at for being a W+M1er, and I try to use the Axtinguisher more, so I die more.

GAH.
I find it dumb that people are complaining about what the Pyro was meant to do. He's a close range class, so it makes sense for him to keep the flames on people he attacks. I say just do what you feel good at doing and pay no attention to those who complain about it.

I have just figured out the moving to the side thing you mentioned. I was playing on Turbine as a Pyro one time, and I happened to run into a Demoman in the vents. He had his sword out, backing up while I was using my flamethrower. I anticipated his attack, backed up, and moved to the side just in time. I watched as he slammed into a wall and finished him off with my flames. T'was a glorious day for all Pyros who have fallen to the Demoman's charge.

EDIT: And by all pyros I mean me.

My 3 favorite classes are as follows:
The Heavy, cos I love being a giant tank with a medic and just blasting through everything.
The Pyro, cos ambushing people with a flamethrower and axtinguisher is pure joy.
The Engineer, cos using dragging a level-3 sentry to a place unexpected just kicks ass.
I can't say I hate any classes, but my least favorite is the Soldier. In a big, specialized, class-based game, he fails to fit any particular niche that I can find. He's a general-purpose guy who I don't see much character in, for some reason.

My favorite and best class is by far the Engineer. I've played it more than my next two classes combined. Sometimes it's boring, but, when I see my team successfully push the last point because of my teleporter and dispenser allowing them to keep a sustained offense up, I know it's all worth it. I like being able to control how my team moves by where I place my teleporter exit.

My least favorite is probably the demoman or soldier. I'm not a fan of their roles.

Favorite: Medic and Sniper.
Hate: Engineer, Spy. I'm never good with turret placement and I can never get that backstab! The guy turns around at the last second!!?!$[]\]
I do like Heavy/ Demo/ Soldier if the team has a good defense and Medic support where I need to jump in and help.

Yup, Newb here, only playing since F2P

Favourites:
Engineer - By far, highest ranking in playtime. Earlier in this thread, if I remember correctly, I was ninja'd by someone saying how, since you're not good in Twitch, you have to employ something of a "lateral thinking" to be good in those games, and the engineer offers nice opportunities for those strategies. And it is not really boring, thanks to Spies. And really, thank you Spies. It's nice fighting you. Speaking of which...
the Spy - Remember that "Newb" in the beginning? I suck at the Spy and I don't play him too often, but he is an exciting and rewarding class. Plus I once - somehow - set my record for most points in a life with him. And I believe it's a respectable number. Which I won't tell, because you could crush my illusions.
Heavy - Initially, Heavy was the only class to pick when I felt completely useless otherwise. But I've grown to like him. Seems to be extremely straightforward, but being The Tank makes it kinda interesting.

Meh, in order of liking:
Sniper - I do like the role, in general, and here specifically the character, but I'm not good enough to enjoy him. My Most kills resulted from spamming arrows in the general direction of the enemy (with one shot of truly awesome marksmanship:). Also: map knowledge. Also: there is always one other sniper, mostly two, and I don't think that I'd contribute anything. I really only play him in a Payload Defense or Dustbowl Attack/Defense.
Pyro - now, I don't like the role. One of my least played classes. But this statement is very subject to change, because I plan to play him more often. Being a good, effectively ambushing Pyro who knows how and when to use an airblast might be something that I should train. Seems like fun.
zeh Medic - Not a class that I'd pick deliberately, but I don't mind playing him when the team needs one. Being directly responsible for making an important push is nice. well... (in case the Heavies are playing along - yes, I'm referring to you bulletproof guys who refused to take out a sentry three times which killed us by the dozen, 12 meters away from the final checkpoint). It's just that in the moments in between, when I run into an enemy, I feel impaired.
Soldier - When there's no need for any of the above and I don't feel like adding any of the above to a round and I don't feel like going Heavy, Soldier's the class to pick. Cause mayhem. Could be fun, but - turns out - a rocketlauncher is just not my weapon of choice.
Scout - Likewise, ranks equally to the soldier: Could be fun, but! ..is mostly about Twitch. More interesting than the soldier, though. I want to work on this one.

Hate
Spammoman - also known as Reloadman. Plus: the most irritating opponent for me as an engineer.
