There is a lot of rock and metal loving on here, so I wanted to switch things up a little bit. While I am predominantly a fan of metal, I enjoy all types of music and I feel that I must represent that.

So, who is your favorite MC? If you would prefer to list a group, great, that works too, whatever makes you feel the most comfortable.

Mine is MF Doom (or Viktor Vaughn, Zev Love X, King Geedorah, Metal Fingers, Supervillian, Danger Doom, Madvillain, whatever he is called this week). I just love his style and his approach to rapping. He really tries to make things sound different, which I like in any type of music.

If you don't like rap, good for you.

hmmm... Rakim by miles, after that probably the mighty Scroob.

I could spout all kinds of crap about Rakim, but the reality is I listen to him on my bike and it feel fantastic, the beat just fits.

Scroobius Pip writes clever lines, it's nice to hear someone rap about things happening this side of the Atlantic as well.

And not only that; Eric B & Rakim where also notorious for creating the most breaking beats hip-hop has ever come across. These beats where PHAT. The sampling was heavy but used in the most innovative, inventive, creative, groovey and just plain out rockn'n ways. It just blows me away the way these guys arranged these samples to creat these beats and songs. Great stuff.

Scroobius Pip is fantastic, his lyrical talent is unrivalled in this country.

I really,really enjoyed The Streets first album. Let me make this clear, not their later material, just their first album, called "Original Pirate Material". I'd heartily recommend "Geezers Need Excitement" and "The Irony Of It All".

Of course, who can forget the classic tune "He Got Game" from Public Enemy. Chuck D is certainly very talented.
