Mine is Scarface. A truly amazing performance. You know a movie is good when a bad ending doesn't falter it.

Note: When using search I found some movie threads but none that asked your all around favorite (just genres) so as far as I'm concerned, this thread is new. If you don't like it, go stick a fork in your eye.

Well, it's a tough decision. And I think I'm going to have to list two.

Comedy, it's going to be Anchorman. I know it's stupid comedy, but it's still FUNNY stupid comedy. And it's the only time in recent memory that Will Ferrel's "stupid but oblivious" character has worked perfectly.

Drama, it's going to be The Prestige. It was a really original movie, and the acting was superb in my opinion. Plus, it's one of the few movies where I've actually enjoyed watching it several times, and still been interested in the plot. It really made me have to think to understand what was going on, the first time I watched it, and that rarely happens.

Fight Club. Undoubtedly the best movie I have ever seen, and the twist never - I mean NEVER - gets old. First time I saw it, I rewatched it twice more

One of my fav's would be The Boondock Saints.
Another excellent movie. There is a sequel coming out this year I think.
Ya its in post production at the moment. I have been following its progress on youtube. They had a kind of behind the scenes daily update. Everyone is back except William Defoe.

Difficult to choose but I must say The Return Of The King.
I see the trilogy as one film and vote this.

If not Kill Bill, The Godfather, The Matrix or Bladerunner.

The Godfather is good, never seen Kill Bill. The Matrix films are good as well.

Well The Matrix was great and Reloaded had some pretty good action sequences, but the third one... oh, the third one...
