Now this question may show some age, but when i was younger i loved watching VHS tapes of the old show 'The Muppet Show' I recently found them and hooked my VHS player up to watch them. So...
Who is your favorite Muppet and why?

Beaker- I love the sound he makes when he talks, and the most ridiculous things happen to him and explode in his face!

Rowlf. Very much a Muppet I identified with. Most of his jokes I actually get now that I'm older.

There was one of the new Muppets that I liked too - Pepe the King Prawn.

Mine is a toss up between Statler & Waldorf, Fozzie Bear, and the Great Gonzo. Statler & Waldorf because they're such smart alecks, Fozzie because he's so clueless, and Gonzo because...Well, he's GONZO.

Not only is he awesome personified, he's based on Keith Moon, which makes him awesome personified times ten.

Also Statler & Waldorf and the Yipyips.

You've, of course, seen this then?

I've always had a soft spot for Statler and Waldorf, it's the compost heap in the back of my garden, Wohohohoho.

I love Statler and Waldorf, and of course Beaker. The little aliens that go "Yip!Yip!Yip!" (Which I still do from time to time). And The Swedish Chef!

Gordon Brown.
...
OH, the puppets. No, still Brown.

OT: Kermit as he is the only one I can remember at this time for some strange reason.

Sweetums... he was the huge, person sized muppet in the background. I always loved him!

And even better... the little known Doglion:

Alice Cooper. If I must choose an actual muppet, I guess I'd go with Kermit, he's the one I remember most vividly.
