... I personally found the video for NIN - Only to be very fun to watch.

I actually haven't seen any original music videos in a long time, so I can't recall any other ones. =\

[Edit: by original I meant not fan-made AMVs... not that all videos are the same]

I don't really watch music videos. I think the music should speak for itself without having some sort of pretentious/stupid/artsy visual representation. But If I had to choose... I suppose... Funeral for a Friend - Bullet Theory.

Here's a very nice chalk stop-motion video for Coldplay's Strawberry Swing:

That all took one week, by the way.

EDIT: Oh, check this out, great song and even better video:

That video, in comparison, took around 1500 hours. That's around 62.5 solid days.

Definitely NOT anything by Rise Against...their only failing is there inability to do a decent music video (except possibly Heaven Knows).

OT: Ooh, now that's a toughie. As a general rule, I hate most music videos because they are all flawed in some way.

I like Green Day's American Idiot, except the bit in the second verse with all the band members going at different speeds is crap.
I like Welcome to The Black Parade, except it is far far too self-indulgent.

So I'll go with my current band of the moment:

Point the first: It's a great song.
Point the second: The video suits it well.
Point the third: Don't trust my contribution to this thread, as I have terrible taste.

Fatboy slims Weapon of Choice, because...It's Christopher Fucking Walken! And he's dancing!

Christopher Walken improves everything he touches.

Except Wedding Crashers. Nothing could improve that garbage. Not even if he was shooting people, all the time.

cKy's video of Escape from Hellview ws pretty funny, but even funnier if you've seen the 'making of...'. The guitarist was nearly hanged.

I'm usually not a big fan of covers or the videos that accompany them but this brightened up my day not so long ago. It's a Cancer Bats video. The band tries to find The Beastie Boys to include them in the video (a cover of their song 'Sabotage'). It's fun, needn't say more.

I don't really watch too many music videos.
However I'm almost embarrassed to admit that I love Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" and "Paparazzi" videos. No matter what's been said about her, she is just a crazy-ass ***** and doesn't try to be anything else, and I can get behind that.

My favorites include:

Take on Me by A-ha. (Yes, I know, but I love the concept. There is a sequel of sorts to the video... but it's very depressing.)

Land of Confusion by Disturbed (I love both this and the original version of the song, but I like the music video for the Disturbed version better.)

If Everyone Cared and Saving Me by Nickelback

Everyday and Dream Girl by the Dave Matthews Band

Breaking the Habit and What I've Done by Linkin Park

El Manana, 19-2000, Clint Eastwood and Feel Good Inc. by Gorillaz (What can I say? They have a lot of great music.)

Thriller and Black or White by Michael Jackson (this one goes without saying.)

...As you can no doubt tell, my taste in music is rather varied...

I'm not a fan of many music videos but Judas Priest's 'Breaking the Law' gets an honourable mention for being very good.
