Melodic hardcore.

There are a VERY small number of bands that fit into it.
By which I mean thus far according to my definition I've found roughly two.

Classical.
I especially like Vivaldi's Four Seasons.
Summer in Presto is probably my favourite, purely because of what happens at 1:30.
I have heard Four Seasons and I think Winter is my favorite, by far. I love how the first 3 minutes sound so dramatic. However, after 3 minutes, it sort of turns to this really odd, ultra-happy tune; I disregard that part's existence.

Also, you might wanna check out Einaudi's music. If you like any one of his songs, just buy all his albums - they're worth every penny.
As an actual Song, the Winter's are my favourite, I just like the.. I don't know what instrument it is, actually .. In Summer - 3rd movement.
This one -

Aah, that's great :)
It's pretty much all I listen to on my I-pod.

I'll check out Einaudi now. Thanks for the tip.

Wow - He's good! Not quite as good as Vivaldi or Tchaikovsky, but in a close 3rd. ^^

Ill try anything except pop/rap. I particuarly like angry/thrashy metal because its so different from my personality. Like five Finger Death Punch and Trivium. And alternative. like Hurt and The Human Abstract. I like Jazz. And naturally the classic rock.Zepplin and Pink Floyd!

Electronic.I only like some of it, especially Daft Punk. I also love the DJ Hero mixes.
Trip-Hop/Hip-Hop/Rap/Pop/Electronic. I decided to put all of these in to express my love for the work of Gorillaz.
Power Metal. Rhapsody and Luca Turilli.
Alternative. Nothing like a good dosage of Coldplay.
Some Pop. Some of Justin Bieber's works and some of Lady Ga Ga's works. I also love Selena Gomez's songs.

It's kinda random: Punk, psychobilly, opera, ska, some folk, dark cabaret, some metal, big band, anime and video game original soundtracks, and traditional pop (as in Louis Armstrong or the Inkspots).

It varies a lot. I like Rock and Metal though.

Actually, I just found this the other day, and since it's a thread about music, thought I'd share.
