I wasn't really around then... but I do love Sam & Max Hit the Road. Makes me wish LucasArts would stop sucking so much.

Sim city was awesome

(does anyone like SMRPG? It was like, my whole childhood; not literally)

It's hard for me to nominate a favorite oldy. I for one definitely would say damn near all of my favorites are on the SNES. Terranigma is a recent classic for me (since it never got a U.S. release). Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen even though I STILL haven't finished it. ShadowRun, my first exposure to cyber-punk RPGs (and arguably my last). Mega Man X, which held my attention longer than its sequels did. Demon's Crest, but that's just Mega Man X again. Cybernator, as well as the original version, Assault Suit Valken. Axelay, arguably one of the greatest shmups of all time (definitely the best of that generation). And last bu not least, Super Earth Defense Force, not a stand-out title but the weapon system was really fun.

Mega Man X, I was around four or five when I first played it, that game had everything, kick ass suits, cool bosses... I miss the old days.

X-COM UFO Def, X-Com TFTD, Syndicate, Grand Theft Auto, Command & Conquer, Red Alert, Diablo, Diablo 2 LoD, Star Craft, Descent 2, One Must Fall 2097, Worms, Worms 2, Lemmings, Lemmings 2, Earthworm Jim, Duke Nukem, Duke Nukem 2, Duke Nukem 3D, Rise of the Triad, Doom, Doom 2, Quake, Heretic, Hexen, Mechwarrior, Mechwarrior 2, Warcraft: Orcs and Humans, Death Rally, Destruction Derby, Carmageddon, and Hi-Octane, Sim Tower, Sim City 2000, Baldies, Jazz Jackrabbit, Jazz 2, Battle Isle, Battle Isle '93, Battle Isle 2220, Scorched Earth, Redneck Rampage, Blood, Bio Menace, Corridor 7, Terminal Velocity, Total Annihilation, Battle Chess, Rollercoaster Tycoon 2, Jagged Alliance.
So Played ~50%, most of those are great games.

My game is Beneath A Steel Sky (available with SCUMMVM). I play it around once a year. It's a point and click adventure set in a dystopian future, so nothing changes from play to play, but I enjoy it so much I have to give it a play each year.

Lemmings (First game I can ever remember playing), Sim City 2000, Silent Hunter (was that the name of it? It was a submarine game - i liked the deck gun =D). Those are my *oldest* favourites. Just 'old' would be Donkey Kong games on the Game Boy, and Beyond Good and Evil. But 'old' is a relative term I guess =)

Define "Oldy".

N64-era? Ocarina of Time.

SNES? Link to the Past or Earthbound.

NES? The Legend of Zelda.

Sam and Max was Telltale not LucasArts. Or did LucasArts produce it? I know for a fact that it was Telltale that developed it.

My favorite oldies are: Chrono Trigger (for obvious reasons), Starcraft, Front Mission, Lost Vikings. Boogerman was awesome too, but I haven't played in so long that it may be terrible for all I know.
