Friedrich Nietzsche. His original work obviously before his sister got to it.
But Voltaire comes a close second.
With Vetenari third.

100% Oscar Wilde.
We got a winner.
"Life is too serious to be taken seriously."
"There is no Sin except stupidity."
"The only worse than being talked about is not being talked about."
"We are clowns whose hearts are broken."
"Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination."

Karl Marx ALL THA WAY!!! KILL THE CAPITALISTS!! LONG LIVE THE PROLETARIATE!!!

lol. Well okay, I don't really believe that. But I agree with many of his ideas mentioned in the Communist Manifesto. Many good Socialist ideas are in there and some are even being put into practice by most Democratic governments.

I also like Jean-Jacques Rousseau for his "Social Contract" (Le Contrat Social). A very good book if you guys haven't studied or read it I would recommend it. (A condenced version though, it's a bit long and can get tedious after a while otherwise.)

I prefer the works of play-dough over those of plato.

I like Aristotle and Buddha.

My favorite is Ayn Rand, though. Yeah, say what you want--I liked her before BioShock came out. Her epistemology and political and psychological theories are the most convincing I've found. By psychological theories, by the way, I'm referring to explanations for human behavior and boundaries of morality.

Gotta go with Archimedes, the man who ran around shouting, "Eureka!" when he figured out mass.

i have been told that some of my thoughts unintentionally have been the same as some of voltaire's. if this indeed is the case, i second the notion.

I'll go for Nietzsche, Sartre and Camus. There are some others who had quotes I use on a regular basis.
