What PQ series are you talking about, because I believe at least 1 thru 3 were all on floppy and you had to enter the text? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it was 4-6(7) that were PnC...ace_of_something said:Police Quest Series. Quest for Glory Series. Monkey Island Series. Grim Fandango. the Dig.
Ah you're playing the later games, which are good and quite enjoyable, but in my opinion at least, aren't a patch on Sam and Max: Hit The Road. Tis an old game now though, think it was released in 1995, but if you get the chance to play the original then go for it. Funnier and much more challenging puzzle wise. The Episodic games, while funny, were very straight forward I found.TheTygerfire said:I just got Sam and Max and even though I have a feeling that I'm too good at it (I think I've already got Episode 1 nailed down), I enjoy the comedy of it more than the actual gameplay. I'd enjoy the gameplay if you could change the damn mouse sensitivity...
The thing is, I actually find the Strong Bad games they made more challenging puzzle wise >__> And I know I should probably have started with the originals, but meh, I'll get to them.Hellion25 said:Ah you're playing the later games, which are good and quite enjoyable, but in my opinion at least, aren't a patch on Sam and Max: Hit The Road. P.S. Mad Dog McCree was way better in the arcades..used to play that till i was broke. Huge screen all live action pure awesomeness. Also there was another old west game off topic a little bit where you played this little comical gunslinger but the whole game was done in this hologram dome thing. there were fires and some guy with a chainsaw even if i remember right. some lame skull effect when you died... anyone know what i'm talking about? HAHA nvm found it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4fGFiOo7urAmokes310 said:Mad Dog McCree was a CLASSIC!

OH MY GOD, I totally remember that game! That game was so fun. I used to just pump quarters into that game, and yet, I never got anywhere.Da_Schwartz said:Have to say Monkey island 2 and Discworld, notable mentions to day of the tentacle, sam and max and of course leisure suit larry.
