I always liked Charizard, Gengar and Alacazam, still enjoyed playing the later games though and developed some respect for Gardevoir who filled the Alacazam type hole in my party in Diamond. The others did their jobs but didn't seem as fun as their generation 1 counterparts.

Seriously though, probably Scizor. Awesome evolution from an equally awesome pokemon. First 251 are the best.

Well, I like the original ones. You know, Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, Venusaur, Squirtle, Wartortle, pokemon who actually were cool instead of stupid B&W.... but I'd have to say either Pikachu or Eevve/Eeveelutions. And I adore Lugia and Arcticuno. All the birdies. Except for the annoying ones like Rattata, Raticate, Pidgeot, Pidgeyotto, stuff that shows up everywhere and you just hit run.

Used to be Alakazam. But because I've answered these like 6 times now and for the sake of being indie: Zangoose & Sneasel/Weavile toss up. Yeah, that's right, 3rd and 4th generations.

Disclaimer: I know Sneasel is 2nd gen. I love the little guy but Weavile takes it on account of, well, you know... *does MovieBob bellowing voice* BEING USEFUL IN BATTLE.
