Should there be an apostrophe there? I dunno. Although I guess if I'm going to be throwing around phrases like, "I dunno," it doesn't really matter, does it?

Anyway! This is exactly what it looks like. A chance for you all to list your favorite SCPs (SCP's? Argh) and give a little spiel about it, maybe even share some you might've written yourself. For those of you that don't know, SCP's/SCPs are from the SCP foundation, which is a website that allows users to submit little (or not so little) faux-reports on supernatural or alien or generally weird phenomena, machines, creatures, people, etc. Most of them are really well written and awfully creative, and they have little things were they reference other SCP'ses and describe experiments taken out, and it's all just fun and generally a pretty groovy time. A list of the first 1000 can be found here [http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-series].

Personally, I'm a big fan of SCP-914. I just really like the idea of a sentient and infinitely complex machine that can produce basically anything from anything else, and even has a sense of humor about it. Part of what I love is how wide the possibilities for future expansion on the concept are. There's so much potential for written experiments, and humorous asides, and I guess even the creation of other SCPseserieses. The possibilities are endless.

I think it's from that website you linked although I can't remember if it was there I read it or somewhere else.

It's a dark staircase that has the sound of a child coming from the bottom of the stairs.

The stairs don't seem to end and you can't see further than a foot infront of you, even with light.

A face appears and follows whoever is on the stairs.

If someone else has read it, help me out and remind me where it's from. I enjoyed that one.

I think it is from that, I remember Jim Sterling mentioning a game based on something like that on Podtoid.

That's the only one I know though.

I would have no idea what you were talking about up until a few hours ago, actually. Funny coincidence. I believe it's SCP-087. I got a bit of a "House of Leaves" feel from it, personally, which is fine because that book was fantastic.

SPC-303 [http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-303] made me super paranoid, especially the incidents. I actually bought a see-through shower curtain because of it... Seriously... Also it made me scared of into the counter in my bathroom, because I was afraid it was in there.

Props go to SCP-087 [http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-087] for being just generally unnerving.

Then there's the tried and true SCP-173 [http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-173].

Then there's also the SCP game, which REALLY deserves to be into into a decent title. Right now it's just broken, buggy, and just kinda abruptly ends in an inescapable room at the moment.

Oh yeah, that containment breach thing. Is it worth checking out, do you think? I'm not all that interested in it, but if a random guy on the internet were to suggest that it was worth a whirl, I might try it out. On an unrelated note, 303 is fantastic. Thank you for sharing that with me.

Well I mean, it's free, so it's worth a shot if you like the SCP foundation. It's VERY difficult and environments are randomized.

As for other SCPs, 899 [http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-899], 823 [http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-823] and 457 [http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-457] are especially creepy.

513 [http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-513] is very interesting, because it starts out sounding like something that'll just be silly (it's a cowbell after all), but then becomes... Dark.

Oh, and then there's me. [http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-426] If you haven't read about me yet, you definitely should.
