With all these "favorite" threads around and a no result from searching what was your favorite Sega cd game? Mine has to be "Dark Wizard" Which is probably to this day the most enjoyable fantasy Stratergy i've ever played. Here a list of sega cd games to browse to refresh your memory, i know i forgot about half of them till overlooking them. Some pretty good games that have been buried under my ps2 n64 and dreamcast memories!http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Sega_Mega-CD_games Turn and burn ratbreath.

I actually enjoyed that system. Even though every game looked like you were playing through a rusted screen door.

HOly crap i forgot about that one. Isn't that the same one where the T-rex gets right in your grill and you have to shoot it in the cheek with the low budget X crosshairs (weakspot) ...Oops spoiler alert >.>

I never owned a Sega CD myself growing up, but my friend did. I recall my favorite games being Sonic CD, Road Rash, and The Terminator, which I remember being extremely difficult for some reason.

I was also a big fan of Dark Wizard, so you're not alone. I remember playing that game for about 10 hours straight when I was about 13. God, I even had a little notebook so I could remember what places I had to revisit for quests.

Other great Sega CD games:
Lunar 1 and 2
Sonic CD
Vay
Shining Force CD

The Sega CD is remembered as a failure, but I never regretted buying mine. Yes, there were a lot of awful FMV games (remember Sewer Shark? ugh). But the system also had a handful of real classics.

Indeed. Lunar was sick too. I don't think i ever played the second one though. Then i got to thinking about Kriss Kross make your own video.,..then i was thinking holy crap i was in 5th grade when they were hot..really long time ago -_- As far as Bad FMV games. Hmmm that boxing one "whats your name!! Honeybee"...Ground zero texas was dreadfully bad..that dracula unleashed game that was impossible. Though so was bram stokers..when you had to fight the bat dracula..and when he died he broke off into a dozen or so rats and ran away..and if you didn't catch every rat before they reacehed the end of the screen the game was over and it cut to some awkward keannu reeves cutscene of him screaming NOOOOooOOOO into a fisheyed camera lense..yea those were the days lol

I think I remember renting Ground Zero Texas. And of course, Sewer Shark came with my Sega CD. Those FMV games looked cool for about 5 minutes before you realized that the game play was horrific. It's a shame that when people think of the Sega CD, they often think of those games rather than the quality stuff.

If you ever dust off the Sega CD, I'd recommend Lunar 2. There is also a PS1 remake that looks nice, but they neutered a lot of the game play in the process.
